Re: FULHAM 14s JPL
Fulham 14s which will be in the JPL division in 2016 have 1 spot available. The teams and coaches focus is on developing players and playing a passing type of game style - there are no long balls in this team. if you want to be part of an exceptional team that played 18 and won 18 in the JSL last s...

Re: Junior trials discussion -
Raiders is hardly the model club for junior development when they resort to targetting good players from other clubs and then send them an invitation to trial. An "invitation." Really? Let's just call it for what it is. Poaching. For a club with highly credentialed coaches, it's a shame t...

Re: First XI game today
Quite frankly my hard earned dollars getting tipped in to my son's private school should be spent on kids learning reading writing and 'rithmetic. Not on paying big dollars to these big name coaches just to stroke the egos of the school sports dept. If your kid is serious about his soccer, there are...

Re: What's a GOOD junior coach worth?
If the FFA was really serious about getting Australia (eventually) to a world class standard (say top 10-15), it would need to spend at least 10-20 mil a year on genuine world class junior coaches. Not having a go at those who put in so much hard work into the game, because without them we wouldn't ...

Still can't work out what all the excitement's about.
Liverpool in the 70s and 80s - yes.
But the current mob- how many fools are getting their hard-earned extracted just so they can sing the YNWA and pretend they're LFC through and through?

Sth Adelaide JSL 13s. Were getting hammered and coach in 2nd half was subbing every minute virtually to avoid the scoreline getting bigger. This discussion about subs etc has all come about because of , lets say, a very dubious claim by the initiator of this thread . Nothing wrong with the discussion per se, but please don't treat the initiator's claim as gospel. It's very frustrating when your son doesn't get much game time when playin...

Re: Toons Mike Williamson accused of red card intent
Carver said that he knew it was coming and said to himself just before the foul "don't do it". Most coaches and players for that matter have a moment in their career where they get to see this kind of thing happen before it does. You watch the way the ball is going and se a player chasing...

Toons Mike Williamson accused of red card intent
Serious allegation by his manager that he deliberately got a red card.
Pretty sure the betting agencies would be loOking for
unusual activity on the red card markets for that game after those comments.
Usually Pays around $4

Re: Checking players age
What age group??? You have to be pretty sure and know the name of the player so you can present it to the FFSA and possibly to the Ref at the start of the game.......however there are no player IDs so it really could be anyone unless they start calling the player by a different name - that's a dead...

Checking players age
Last week at a junior game, there was a player who did not look underage. That of course doesn't mean he's not. But the opposition team wasn't sure if they could do anything about it, as ID isn't available on game day. My question is this: what is the correct procedure in questioning for proof of bo...

No need to get them in a knot.
Obviously nothing gets done willy nilly.
Is the game being played tomorrow?
You make it seem like you were the main man responsible for getting Liverpool
out here.
