Heard at todays wa- metro game a rumour that investigations are about to take place regarding Liverpools visit to Australia. Some promotional aspects and deals are being put under microscope. Wide- ranging involvement including locals apparently to be questioned. The guy telling me is usually on the...

Re: Has the standard of U18's gone backwards

You're going the wrong games then. Croydon Kings play a great style (well coached) and wont do it 100% as most are 15-16, but sometimes the football is better to watch than the higher grades. Last year, champions, this year reckon at least finals. :D 18's is a mixture of 15-18 the standard has lowe...

Not all people have birth certificates, what if you are a refugee from a country that doesn't have birth certificates or you forgot to pick it up as you were fleeing for your life. Valid point. Should we exclude them from playing the sport they love simply for being refugees. Give them a break , pl...

Whilst Hurlcock is just being hurlcock, and being totally unreasonable , I do question the accountability of those in charge of the FFSA junior development. Who are they accountable to? Where does their funding come from? Are there defined KPIs ? Is there govt funding? If so, are there targets to re...

Felt very sorry for Prandelli. Looks like a good honest man who dragged them up to 2nd at Euro 2012 & 3rd at the 2013 Confed Cup and sort of tamed Mario B. But his telling exit quote was the following: "There's no hiding it, the national team is disliked. We're the only national team that ...

Performance enhancing substances

Can anyone help. My lad plays in FFSA juniors for a strong club. He's skilful but at this stage lacking in strength compared to some teammates. Will heads roll over training cancellation?

Ange was angry at the presser.
I imagine that socceroo management is to blame , for not having a
plan B in place to deal with the weather .
If so, a head or 2 may roll, given that Ange is the Boof Lehmann of Australian soccer, and what they want, they normally get.

Re: Which club told their kids not too wear club guernsey

Nobody would pass to the kid. Unfortunately that is a recurring theme when speaking to others about the sap trial process. I congratulate RA and the FFSA overall, but one shortcoming seems to be a perception (rightly or otherwise), that they are not interested in the team player. They would rather t...
