Re: WNPL
Didn't the FFSA recently ask clubs to provide actual names of players registered for 2016 to ensure team numbers were credible and meet the WNPL criteria?? I really hope FFSA ensure that all teams granted WNPL status have their house in order, ruling out the possibility of finding out a week before ...

Re: Awards
I may be the only one to say this but I don't think that the correct decision was made last night regarding the womens prem coach award. How did say Marie from Metro not get an award for her efforts this year with 2 major trophies to her name. This being only her second year in charge and before it...

Re: Metro United win the Double
Surely it was the referee's fault?   Good to see a young female coach come up through the playing ranks and now start her coaching career with an impressive double. Hopefully more ex-players and eventually current players, follow suit. The game needs them to stay on and continue to ...

Re: Controversity Aside Metro vrs Adelaide City
Many people commenting on this incident are forgetting that there are THREE things that require scrutiny. That is, the spectator running on to the field and the Metro player who kicked the City girl lying on the ground. To add, to that the referee and assistant referee who failed to discharge their...

Re: Metro United vs Adelaide City
Can you rule out any physical contact made by that city supporter who entered the field? **** I'm still waiting on what I thought was a relatively simple question and response. For the sake of clarity, I will re-ask for the third time. United We Stand ... can you definitively rule out that the Adel...

Re: Metro United vs Adelaide City
I found it hard to believe that a referee would just abandon the game just because a single supporter illegally entered the pitch. Why? Entering the field by a spectator is a serious offence under the FFSA Disciplinary Regulations. He had every right to abandon the match. Its about setting an examp...

Re: Lady Reds Coach To Quit
I was only commenting on the system as it currently exists- obviously there are better models out there. The changes you mention would take a long time in transition and many of the changes you mention aren't within the ffsa's responsibility but rather the ffa's. That's not to say that change isn't...

Re: Lady Reds Coach To Quit
I'm not sure that the fees paid by clubs subsidise the elite programs- the u14's and U13's pay fees to FFSA for the season. The NTC players benefit from government funds that used to go to SASI before the soccer programs were eliminated. Only recently have the NTC players been asked to pay, and I b...

Re: Lady Reds Coach To Quit
snow white I am not being sarcastic. it is a known fact that local players are not getting paid. Also there are people in the women's football circle who were unhappy with the way RA left in such circumstances after being heavily invested. Maybe that is why there was no official farewell party. In ...

Re: What Now for the Lady Reds ?
i believe Chidiac has signed on with Melb City for the upcoming season Great news for Chidiac, but doom and gloom for Lady Reds. We can't even keep our best local talent, let alone look to recruit a core of experienced quality players to build our own players around. Not surprised though given, the...

With Ross's departure (a very significant loss in my books, given his credentials and strong connection to the Mathilda's), who is running the show??? You have to question the purpose of pulling the best out of the next generation out of their clubs to concede 20 goals and I'm reliably informed barely created an attack and could have easily been 30 nil with some more accurate finishing. Even more startling is how their coach could sit on the bench...

True. It's tough explaining the 'vision' to the plebs, who should just stick to marking the lines, paying the fees and only speaking when spoken too.

On the contrary, you recently tried to give credit for RA's achievements at NTC nationals to GH. Now you come out after a bad defeat to talk up the result when you were nowhere to be seen during three consecutive wins on the trot against top 4 teams including victory and only defeat of the top team....
