Re: Uni-Metro points and teamsheets
It really just looks like mates looking after each other from where I stand... With the FFSA having deducted points off 3 Uni teams already this season, I'd say no. so despite multiple transgressions in this season alone by your own admission, how did the Uni Prem team get out of a black and white ...

Re: Round 6
I am sure that if Fulham have breached the rules in the reserves, they will accept the penalty. Like many I have utmost respect for MJ, and sure she will be missed, but sell the rest of the Fulham players short at your own peril. I am sure they will remain positive as a group / team. GO FOR IT TEAM...

Re: Round 6
Actually I heard Uni have had that decision overturned with an appeal! Seems hard to fathom the rules are quite clear and as I read black & white. I hadn't even seen in the rules that you could appeal such a clear cut decision. I can't imagine an appeal would get anywhere for the same error in ...

Re: Round 6
Heard fulham had a player sent off in reserves and she wasn't in the team sheet! big mistake there surely they forfeit the game and lose the points, seeming that's what happened with ad uni prems vs metro. Actually I heard Uni have had that decision overturned with an appeal! Seems hard to fathom t...

Re: Round 3
So let's just give every team a "first" warning for any rule that is broken?? Now that is ridiculous. The rule and consequence has been given for this situation. I am sure Uni have taken it and moved on. But for you to say only a warning to be given? People need to learn to pay attention ...

Re: Round 3
Correct me if I'm wrong , but it seems to me to be a MASSIVE reward to MUWFC to recieve 3 points for a game just because the person who filled in the opposition players card got a name wrong ( or missed one or whatever ). No points for Uni - fair enough - rules are rules and they would be the same ...

Re: Round 3
I wonder if Brazil put Ronaldo down instead of Ronaldinho whether FIFA would dock them 3 points. If this was just a basic error, you're punishing 90 minutes of hard work from a team of girls for one person's spelling mistake? Some people need to get a life  No wonder the women's game is where...

Meeting to be held Thursday???? Mmmmmhhhhhh ... that doesn't sound good.ball_girl wrote:Prems/Reserves season start pushed backwards & a meeting being held on Thursday... anyone surprised?
Looks like we could be set for more changes, when stability at this point of the year is required now more than ever.

Re: NEW LEAGUE STRUCTURE
Snow white, the new structure was indeed one of the options presented to the clubs. Also, structuring the competitions isn't just a matter of making sure each division has an even number of teams. I'm pretty sure other variables are considered such as will the club survive if they get moved ...

Re: NEW LEAGUE STRUCTURE
also small observation ... why have a 7 team and a 11 team comp, meaning having a hated bye in each competition? Why not have a 10 and 8 team comp and avoid the bye??? which one would you nominate to go up, remembering that as a Prems team, they'd have to put a team into the state league comp anywa...

Re: NEW LEAGUE STRUCTURE
despite all the off-season turmoil, no fundamental change to the format of the Prem comp. essentially, reserves have been sacrificed to make up for the clubs who folded and saved the State League. from what I was told, this 7 team Prem comp was not one of the three alternatives clubs were asked to p...

as an interested onlooker, I thought it might add value to this debate to actually provide a definition of a conflict of interest. A conflict of interest occurs when an individual or organization is involved in multiple interests, one of which could possibly corrupt the motivation for an act in the ...
