Interesting to see the outcome here.juniorsupporter wrote:Has the game been rescheduled?
Is there any rules that govern this situation i.e. does Cumberland have claims for more than just a rescheduled game?

Re: FFSA Women's Challenge Series
Except for W-League, that canteen is never open when there aren't men's games being played. Another example of the underresourcing of the girls' and women's game- As for the location of the ground- once West Beach is finished that should allow some of these things to be played at a more central loc...

Why would ffsa sanction the catch up game this Thursday and disrupt this new concept.
What better way to annoy the 'older' players with another administrative oversight!

Re: FFSA Women's Challenge Series
Maybe it peaked years ago and is now declining. At what point then does the panic button get hit? Exactly my point ...... You get worried when you lose players. You start to sweat when your lose teams. You lose sleep when you lose clubs. and you hit the panic button when you lose entire divisions w...

Re: FFSA Women's Challenge Series
I recall 2-3 years back, the Federation released a player number breakdown per club. Unfortunately I don't think the exercise was repeated, but statistically would be very interesting to see the playing numbers across the board, the amount of clubs and divisions involved. from say the last year wome...

Re: Cup Results
I think last years coach had a bit to do with it... and the girls that had issues with him looked elsewhere at the start of pre-season... they had already settled by the time the coach stepped down and was replaced with their current coaches. I don't think its the end of the line for Cumberland. Sa...

SW, Things definitely look different now for Fulham than they did in January, but saying they are close to folding is ridiculous. So no nails in the coffin quite yet! :D Interesting description, 'things definitely look different' ... I don't agree that they are close to folding and they were never ...

Re: Friday night football
Sturt beat a very poor Fulham team that are close to falling apart as a club. Hang on- Fulham not falling apart- they did 't play well and were missing MJ- players like that make a real difference. They shouldn't be underestimated in spite of a bit of a rocky start. There's lots of talent there. St...

From what I can see Terminator's comment was on the Sunday night and appeared to be based around "conflict of interest'. My daughter was informed of his move Monday evening at training. Personally, I see that as completely appropriate. Again, this is our first year in a Prems club, so I may be...

QQ and JS, you have opinions and that's good for you. I have mine. You won't convince me but I won't sit here giving you obvious explanations which you would probably not understand/be willing to understand. So far, facts show that things are not as great as you think, but I understand (from your p...

Re: Flinders Gone
I have no issue with coaches or anyone approaching a player out of season about playing prospects. It's always been part of our game and impossible to police.
I do have issue with ffsa officials 'influencing' players to go to one club or another.

Re: Flinders Gone
Let's be clear about how many players we're talking about with regards to Sturt, and what their circumstances are- To my knowledge there are five girls at Sturt who played on the U15 side last year. One of those came from Sturt and returned there. Two were at Adelaide HIlls previously, so they have...

Easy tiger, ffsa assured the clubs, when the u15 prem side was established, that those players selected would be 'strongly encouraged' to return to their home clubs. If what you are saying is correct, then we have high ranking ffsa officials, who obviously carry alot of influence with these players ...

Re: Flinders Gone
Sturt had some 50 players turning up to pre season, apparently because of their coach's connections with FFSA. Not sure how many, but I know for a fact that some of the ones who were in last year's FFSA U16 squad were "encouraged" by DE and another FFSA coach to go to Sturt this year as i...

I'm assuming DE's assistant and coach of the FFSA u/15's would be running the show at the moment.

Could the last person at the Lady Reds please turn off the lights ! :D ... Victory then went into cruise control. No doubt we will...

i heard sturt and cumby are merging is that true? Sad if true. Re: Matildas coach
If DE is openly applying for other jobs, and I suspect he has applied for more than just the national team job, then his heart isn't in football in SA and the long term. If that's the case, he should step aside at end of the season and do the right thing and allow the ffsa to search for a suitable c...
