well if it gets to the 11th players taking a penalty, as subs cannot be used...penalty taker 1 goes again? or they miss a turn or something like that

Re: Junior Sides per club
i understand your point but i think the point of having 2 teams is to have as many girls playing as possible. the more talent that is out there the better it is for the future. Ive refereed girls at different age groups in different divisions and there is definately talent all over the park. Some pl...

Re: Brisbane vs Adelaide - Rnd 8
if they can take the points that would be an incredible result! Defence will be reshuffled with some inclusions and some injuries/suspensions. Maybe it will do the trick. If they can finish their chances they create and defend wel its possible but i cant see it happening...maybe next week at home vs...

Re: Brisbane vs Adelaide - Rnd 8
It’s off to Brisbane and a David and Goliath match-up as Brisbane Roar host Adelaide United in a match that pits top v bottom in the Westfield W-League 2009 season. Although losing fullback Brooke Spence to a season ending ankle injury Brisbane Roar will be looking to continue the form that has seen...

I remember long ago another starry night like this In the firelight Fernando You were humming to yourself and softly strumming your guitar I could hear the distant drums And sounds of bugle calls were coming from afar They were closer now Fernando E...

Thoughts? The girls just need to show fighting spirit in this game so come full time they can hold their heads up high knowing they did their best unlike last weekend. Winning will be very hard as Brisbane have only ever lost one game and have a few Matilda's in their squad. I rekon theres gonna be ...

Re: Adelaide United
AU's squad is pretty much a local premier league outfit whereas other clubs have foreign players as well as matilda's in their squads, what Adelaide lacks both of and i think money is an issue there. There are definately players who bust their guts everyweek but unfortunately we cant rely on them to...

i called a "gaining an advantage" offside against the ACT at the Primary School nationals a couple months ago which disallowed a goal and their coach thought he knew the rules better than me. But they are the toughest ones to call. Called 3 offsides against Victoria vs SA and 3 goals were ...

Re: Adelaide United
they need a proper pre-season, not just the local prem league. they need to sign most of their players in time for pre season so they can all gel in trial matches and learn how to play as a unit come the W-League season. this season players were signed pretty late just before the season.

if Liverpool's bottle of shiraz stupid owners sell Fernando Torres without his consent because they think its a way to help get them out of financial problems. They got Liverpool into it so they can get Liverpool out of it and selling the Premier League's top striker is not an option. Bloody Yanks! ...

its definately a very confusing and technical rule if you dont understand it and a call of offside can change a match completely. but i think its a god rule which makes teams work that bit harder to score.

Re: Fourth officials
spot on mate. the 5th official is not in every domestic game around the world and i dont even think in all internationals. The 4th official will generally become the referee and then if an AR is injured in some freak accident a 5th official or reserve AR is introduced...but how often does that happe...

Re: Ball Inflation
We have a pressure guage which we put in the air-hole of the ball and it must read equal to 600-1,100g/cm2 atmosphere to determine how much air is on the ball as well as the weight of the ball.

i use my AUFC season ticket to get into womens games. and some other W-League teams use other grounds rather than where their mens team plays. it saves money. but if they are playing as a curtain raiser for the men they will play at an A-League Venue.
