Napoli were a step above us, it was a very poor performance by Juve.

Ok, the hunt is on. Juve on the board. A win against Frosinone would set up a big early match with Napoli on the weekend.

It was a frustrating game. You could see some players were not on the same page and nothing really clicked.

Re: Serie A discussion

I don't see Torino finishing in Europe, only with the other sides strengthening. They should comfortably be top half and could push for a spot, however.

Re: Serie A discussion

Well that was quite the anti-climatic start. Dominated all the match but couldn't put the ball away, while Udinese scored with their only shot. That will put the pressure on next week in Rome.

Re: Hungarian Grand Prix

The Hungarian GP is one you normally watch but understand there won't be many overtakes on track. It's that sort of circuit. Not yesterday, however. Great race - and a Ferrari win which is always sweeter :D

Re: Serie A discussion

I was hoping Juve would go for Darmian, I think he would have ticked a lot of boxes. Ah well. Still, good business by Torino to get a replacement and a promising midfielder while still retaining some cash.

Re: Serie A discussion

From the past season you could say Crisetig, Rugani, Berardi, Zappacosta, Romagnoli, Viviani (in Serie B), Sabelli (B), Leali and Sportiello were regulars. Others made 15-20 appearances or so. Benassi played a lot for Torino. Sturaro was a regular for genoa before he went to Juve Bardi the GK was a...

Re: Serie A discussion

That game was incredible, it really had everything. It's up there with one of the best two matches I've seen this season.

A shame Icardi had to score and go level with Toni at the top of the scorers chart.

Re: Serie A discussion

And there's number two :D

A close game, we could have won it in normal time with Matri's disallowed goal, they were close with Djordjevic hitting both posts in extra time. But finally we have the 10th Coppa, so time for a silver star to join the three gold ones on the shirt.
