i am aware of the huge step they have taken but there are other clubs which were offered this opportunity and turned it down in fear that they would not be ready for this huge step up. good on them for giving it a go!

the downs have some quality players pecker...not all of whom that are old! they have to decent young strikers in the name of mister radford and also young ross which are both still pretty young!and there 'has beens' have all played federation some where along the line so they should be taken seriously

XplosiveTTG we currently have 2 c teams...one is the old boys (im gonna hear bout that one!) and the other is the traditional c team. the one which beat ingle on the week end are the older boys which are quite a decent team.they boast many past first team players and some are still quite handy...so ...

thanks chris_ikon, would of been a great day out for your first team! take nothing away from them they forced our players into the position of defeat and did it really well! we didnt really look like scoring, there were a couple of goals scored by your team that were really well taken! do you play? ...

yeah pretty average! six weeks! lasted all of the first 3 minutes. no breaks or cracks which is good, the ref came up to me at half time and said he thought id snapped my leg in half! it felt like i did

they have a good mix of youth and experience at the downs this year.

bit hard to tell so early in the season
downs looked quite strong the other wk when i played against them in a friendly but things could change quickly in a team like that!
