It's always excuses when Aussies take drugs
We can blame our mothers, like Shane Warne did, even when him and Mark Waugh were on the take with Bookies.
But wait, it's not our fault, we have excuses!!
Fact is drugs are rife in Australian sports. We just think we're better than everyone else

In a couple years, it'll all change again.
19's will be bought back, and another full crop of kids will be delusional.
Parents peed off, life goes on.
It's worse than politics

Do you need to know how to fight?
Quite a few times I've seen your team all they want to do is fight and kill opposition?

Re: electronic teamsheets
The best way to monitor is a scanning system.
The ref needs to have a small computer/gps and a scanning system on the numbers on guernseys.
This will also prevent individuals in clubs eg metro (a few years ago) being liable to sign afridavids.

Ang is ok, but some people need to relax.
If he were good, he'd be overseas. Let's face it! The Asian cup was a tournament for the 100 ranking teams. Pretty poor standard all round

We will see more and more kids only playing school football in the future. And when a club identifies a talented lad, what will happen? Free fees??
As an example, I wonder if Mabil or Teeboy payed club fees.

Kids will gain nothing. Look at a club who has a good coach in place and you kids will benefit more.
Adelaide City, always have good coaches in place for their juniors.

NO- he meant to injure him. Not defending Suarez, what he did was wrong, but the intent to deliberately injure a player as Zuniga did should be looked at & dealt withRookie wrote:You are kidding me rightIbelieve wrote:What Zuniga did, was worse than Suarez. FIFA should be looking at that????

As good as it was...and it was bloody good....technically, it's harder to judge and then execute Tims volley from height, across his body on his non preferred foot on an angle As opposed to... Receiving the ball unopposed, chesting it, swivelling and volleying from directly in front..... I know it ...

Many good goals, Tim Cahills was a great goal but the Best Goal so far is definitely the Columbian Striker's goal. Chest the ball and turn on the volley. By far the best!

Re: unsporting behaviour
Who cares! It's not about win win win. Let the kids enjoy the game first, and hopefully a good coach will develop them. There should be plenty of encouragement. You'll see in a few years, many if these kids will either drop out, because of pushy parents or terrible coaching. Or they'll leave the gam...

Re: Looking for a club for my two sons
Just get the lads to play schools soccer and enjoy themselves. If they want to really learn the game and develop skills, take them to a private clinic, they'll love it. There's a few around that are not asociaited with any clubs eg Drago, Jason Hayhurst and Ernie Luongo(he does clinics away from met...
