Re: Croydon Kings U/18 trials
Bomber, where did Robert Dello coach previously and when will the club officially announce this? Isn't this "official" enough? I have been told has had spells at Birks, White City, Campbelltown (amongst others) previously and is well credentialed. What sort of turn out has there be...

Re: Adelaide Budapest
clubs are what they make of it and clubs are what their players make it, no help and clubs die, but if a club doesn't help or attract the players they can't get the help they need to grow and survive. Fees can help or hinder, for example I know a club who offers $250 playing fees, sounds cheap but ...

Yep .. none of the younger guys pitched in to do things around the club ..same people every week .. they younger ones didn't even turn up to train ..just came game day.. Re: Adelaide Budapest
Just to set the record straight..... The club never requested to be elevated to Division 3. This was a league decision against our requests. Based on the fact that we thought we would not be able to field two teams the club specifically requested our demotion to either Division 5 or 6. Why the leag...

Really sorry to hear you guys have folded. At Strathalbyn we were in a similar situation a couple of years ago. I really hope you get the club going again in the future. Oh and as I mentioned in the Sat Div 3 thread:
On behalf of Budapest we are really sorry for any inconvenience to clubs associated with our withdrawal and the league itself so close to the season commencement .. we tried to hang in there but just couldn't.

Don't thin any club would be happy re Budapest folding .. know one wants to see any established club fold.. There may be issues between players and clubs game day but outside of that all are friends and socialize with the same. Budapest has a great history and a substantial trophy cabinet going back...

Re: Sat Div 3
That is a poor decision I agree. I happen to know Budapest asked a while ago to be put in a lower division through lack of players. Yeah that's right .. the SAASL seems to be in a bit of a shambles the way the leagues have been formatted and how rules of participation in relevant div's have been di...

Re: Time for the SAASL to get tough on Clubs?
SAASL have had rules in place re 1 and 2 team clubs .. I agree with what Gooner has suggested that two team clubs should be promoted to higher leagues where 2 team are required and those that are only to filed 1 team should be in Divs appropriate for them ..other wise it will be a shambles. I see mo...

Re: Croydon Kings Collegiate - new team - players required
Wonder if teams going to Collegiate as anything to do with the reason why Budapest who requested to go to Div 5 as only able to enter one team (a much weakened one at that) has instead been elevated to Div 3!!! - the leagues response was that there will just have to be a bye for Ressies when fixture...

For starters .Alagich, Androli, Elvis, Cristiano all current or former Raiders people all currently employed by FFSA ..
Have no issue at all with those above ..and dont care re the proposed structures ..just noting more FFSA self interested activity.
