Re: Barbaro at wanderers

I heard that Iraq is stockpiling Weapons of Mass Destruction.

Santos, go play with the juniors.

Re: Barbaro at wanderers

Sad? Wanderers is a traditional football name, Google it.

I suppose we could have called ourselves Adelaide United instead, but there is one of those around already and we would prefer to win titles.

Grouse will see you at the trial game, make sure Craig plays, my studs miss his shins terribly.

Roo... you really shouldn't do that to yourself.

Santos, crawl back into your hole you keyboard hero.

Happy to say it on an open forum.

Cups are nice to win, but show nothing compared to the week in week out consistency of a league title.

Any 11 on the park can be beaten by any 11 on the park on the day.

Look at Downs vs Vale the other week.

Saturday select team would do a Sunday select team full stop.

Club wise on the other hand, Sunday hands down.

Clubs the likes of the Downs are miles in front of anything Saturday has to offer, on and off the pitch. Results and finances speak for themselves.

If you can actually read, the refs report said no such thing. Wanderers never expected any points, but to not sanction Modbury for having one of their spectators bif a player, completely flew in the face of their "tough" stance on player/crowd behaviour. I wonder what your captain got for ...

Modbury as a club and the players in the first team would be pretty disappointed in both their "captain" and their supporters, for spoiling what was a really good effort from the players on the park. Firstly to punch someone from behind for a tackle, while yes it deserved to have a free ki...

My point exactly PM, tracks like love cats, icing sugar etc. etc. although you could play them, they wouldn't be the same... so they probably thought "what's the point". But you're right, his improvisation on the guitar was pretty amazing, even when he broke a string but just kept going. M...

There is a clause in the SAASL rules regarding reserves catch up games, I'm not exactly sure how it goes, but the gist is that if you have played 80% of the season in the first team you are ineligible to play in the reserves.

As for regular season games, don't know if there is anything stopping you.

Was a top game & your right, Welshy had a stunning second half after he decided that rather than trying to stop Johnny, he'd attack himself. Sorry didn't see the goal, although I haerd it was run of the mill  Good luck for the rest of the campaign, after Saturday I reckon you may be in with...

Dan, get your bottle of shiraz hand off it!

You boys got bottle of shiraz done the second half and considering you had half of your first squad in, nothing to brag about.

Just hope Manca has the wekend off next cup round.

Don't worry, we have a hard copy of the team now.

Don't be surprised if there happens to be an inordinately high occurrence of "unfortunate accidents" involving lead pipes and kneecaps in the west tonight!

Modbury said they couldn't field an A's team because they have 3 players who are playing for their B's in the cup... that's why that game was postponed. We will be able to field a team, we rustled up a couple of bums we found out in the streets and registered them. Ooooo the mind games... It's build...

I'll be in bed before Jane Rieley finishes reading the weather.

As for the no alcohol rule, I tried it, but I couldn't stop the shakes!

Just one case of Carlsberg and two packets of Peter Stuyvessant the night before, I promise.
