Re: FFSA CUP 2018
Brahma v Modbury Great game last night which showed what the FFA Cup is all about. I though Modbury played some very good football in the 1st half with Bowman & Farrell scoring from outside the box, what about Farrell's effort from inside his own half that the keeper just got too. Both clubs ha...

Good to see some amateur sides going through, hope all of them hosting home games make some coin and have a good enough experience to encourage more next year, with the top tier in next round the likes of the Vale could get a visit from an Adelaide City, MetroStars ect Can’t see Downs getting past ...

Re: Big Questions for WNPL Season 2018
a bigger question is will be there some consistency among the appointment of match officials, and the decisions they make ? All WNPL clubs are trying their best and doing a great job of providing a good level of competition, and can not have top quality competition, if you have average standard matc...

Re: program aims to boost number of female coaches
I found out about the course after an inquiry about recognition of coaching qualifications from the US (which are not recognised by FFA). However at a cost of $900, reduced from $1200 my daughter who plays and works part time had to decline the offer to attend. looks like there is about 20 people i...

Re: 2018 Women's State League Structure
A few clubs in State League without juniors though - Salisbury United, Para Hills Knights and Western Strikers, so Flinders could definetly jump into State League and build junior girls just as quickly as the other clubs in there if they wanted to. Flinders are in a better position then SU, PHK and...

who do you think will challenge them ? Metro have at least 16 players that would get a first team spot ( and a full game ...hint ) at any other WNPL club.

Re: Flinders Flames Appoint Paul Maio as Senior Coach for 20
good appointments by your club. Just looked at the league table and you won division 1 comfortably in the end I would at a guess to say you would easily be among top 4 in the SL, just with last years squad. My concern for you is, the Community League this year be competitive enough, provide enough ...

We certainly did consider SL, however the club feels at this point in time it needs to strengthen its preceding teams to ensure a strong positioning in the state league competition. We know our squads and players are certainly more than capable of meeting the state league competition however there ...

Re: MVW V AUW
The W league ( and WNPL ) should only be for the dedicated ones, I was not aware W league in particular would even contemplate playing aflw players. Fielding a W league team in WNPL is not the answer, it would not work and would decimate WNPL - if anything put the lady Reds in a boys JPL division. D...

Re: Adelaide United Women rumour
All round tough assignment. The season started off with promise and albeit they defeated Perth I don't think Perth were at their best. Goal scoring opportunities are not as clinical as the opposition. Huerta was the defining factor last year and towards the end of the season, put on a clinic and sh...

Wont get any easier this week against M City, away, and they have just signed an English International player. I think it is really harsh how some people have picked on crows supporters on facebook past few days.
It was noted though, the average IQ of all the people, tests conducted in Adelaide /SA last weekend, it was the highest it has ever been, wonder why ?

Re: Craig Laird's Sunday Premier Division Round Up
The lack of an ability for a card check has been a shambles as well. It could be worse we could be in the collegiate league, apparently one team had a player that had been cleared by the FFA (the body that ultimately the collegiate league falls under) said player played a couple of games. The colleg...

Re: Cobras Vs Bramha Lodge
How many games have the Cobras played in where they have had things go their way ? Every club has days like that that is football, some clubs are better than others at intimidating Referees to award the 50/50 challenges your way, and award you free kicks that aren't really there. That is how some cl...
