Re: Div 1 - Div 2 Sunday whats going to happen??
No, we finished 3rd, it looks certain that 3 teams will go up, we will go up, we will work hard to make it happen and be as competitive as possible and all Division 1 Teams will get a warm welcome and dinner provided etc[/quote] finishing 3rd by 1 pt meant you were almost going to be in Div1 anyway....

Re: Div 1 - Div 2 Sunday whats going to happen??
Sh i t just got real  Any players out there want to play in the big boys division ? Your coach last year was quoted as saying to our coach " we don't want to go up, its to hard" hopefully your new coach has a different approach. No, I feel I need to clarify that, Jim took us from D...

Re: Div 1 - Div 2 Sunday whats going to happen??
That's what I thought, given the option we would probably say no, we need to rebuild this year too many old people playing and we need far more depth just to compete in Division 2, we certainly won't have 3 Teams and if we are forced to play in Division 1, may even struggle for 2 Interesting wordin...

Re: Div 1 - Div 2 Sunday whats going to happen??
Sh i t just got real  Any players out there want to play in the big boys division ? Interesting to know if your committee considered staying put in div2? thinking if your not able to adequately recruit then it could actually be damaging longer term should you have a bad 2017 - as opposed to ...

Yes oh wise one, it was tongue in cheek. If we are 'given a spot' we will give it 100% You should come and watch a few I will try to make it for some of your games closer to home. Been a while since I watched you avoid relegation. Yes, that was a fun day out and to Redback your probably right, plen...

Re: Friendly Required
Have heard Angle Vale splashing the cash and on a massive recruitment drive to get into Div 1!!! Maybe frontrunners in Div 2 this year They can take our spot this season! You don't have a spot - YET And even if you do get one, it should be your spot not someone else's. The league should dictate div...

Not sure if the Knights will be involved this year, I respect those who organise these events and they are probably frustrated with clubs not committing etc, however it's time to start locking in some friendlies

Re: World Cup Expansion Proposal
Most of the games are sell-outs or close to it, I would get up at 2am and watch Australia v Chile but wouldn't get up at 2am to watch Brazil v Croatia etc You would wipe a minimum of 40% off the overall financial take Although your right the last qualifying spot game would receive good TV coverage ...

Re: World Cup Expansion Proposal
I should be though. I wouldn't just hand out participation places like FIFA do now. Yes, although Business 101 could be a problem Yes because FIFA would be struggling with money. All the games would be better quality, as the only teams in it would be the quality ones. The qualifying becomes a bigge...

Re: World Cup Expansion Proposal
Probably as bad an idea as your one The concept will always have critics, which confederation is stronger, deserves more etc, however whilst I don't agree with increasing, I believe it's the right size now, both commercially and length etc - i.e. one month. Commercially if you weaken Asia's involve...

Re: World Cup Expansion Proposal
They could, just an opinion. To me 50% of all of South America is too many, that's all, so take one spot away from them and could have "half" from Oceania and "half" from Africa or Asia instead. EG: 7 from Europe 4 South America 1.5 Asia 1.5 Africa 1 or 1.5 CONCACAF 0.5 or 1 Oce...

Re: World Cup Expansion Proposal
The format is good as it is. Having been to the last 3 World Cups, there are rarely any 'blow outs', the countries can generally cope and the interest level is still very high Having said that, I will go to Russia (only if Australia or if I dare to dream Scotland) qualify as I believe the Russians w...

Re: Tom Rogic
Agreed, he is having a great season, I think he will have at least one more year, Celtic will win the League again this year and hopefully get through the qualifying rounds and be back in the group stages of the Champions League, so that and the amazing support, would be silly to move next year

Re: Last Christmas
UEFA rules state at least 5% of the stadium capacity be allocated to away supporters, so 3,000 is a reasonable number. Do you expect Man City to turn away its own fans to give Celtic a bigger allocation? No, that's my whole point though ground wasn't full despite the larger number of Celtic Fans th...

94/95 had a green and white away kit as well. There is a long list of trouble with Millwall but I don't pretend we're angels. The "eating babies" is a piss take on the perception people have of us. We sing "no one likes us". We are aware of our reputation and don't care what out...

Or perhaps we bought tickets in the City end Then how do you know you had 2,000 extra? Pretty sure any celtic supporter would have been politely asked to leave who was illegally in the wrong end. From a Manchester Forum "Can't believe how many celtic fans where in the city end tonight" &q...

Still couldn't stop causing trouble. Lol, the man with many colours - didn't know Man City was another one of your clubs When you only allocate a massive club like Celtic 3,000 tickets and can't sell enough to your own supporters (the ones who left on mass against Chelsea) then don't blame us for s...
