Ahh. The perputaul dilemma. Because their skills are not as good as the JPL. Then there's the other reasons open to speculation.Željko Jurin wrote:If these players are so talented, then why are they in JSL to start with ?

And if there was no JSL where does that leave teams like Fulham who have teams in certain age groups that r gd enough for JPL but FFSA won't let them in because our seniors r not aligned to the FFSA. Where would our 250 junior boys play then? I think you know the answer. Somewhere else or nowhere. ...

Re: Adelaide City Trials For 2013 Season
I believe City are letting go of some of their more experienced coaches for season 2013 . Is there a reason for this, and have these coaches been picked up by other clubs. If so does that mean more players will Leave City. Have noticed a coach, previously identified on their website as coaching the...

Re: Adelaide City Trials For 2013 Season
Robs team did well this 2012 season. A couple of top players were picked for the Skilleroos, loosing them put a big dent in the team. Having said this there were some surprises picked in the JPL, there's is no denying that. Next season will be an interesting one for City and whoever Rob goes too. So...

...... the clubs do not want parents to know who the coach will be in case the player and/or the parents choose to go elsewhere for some reason (There's plenty of people out there that say they will or won't stay at a club based on who the coach is to be. Probably fair enough, but my experience has...

Re: Appointed coaches?
I notice that this is about the time of year when clubs are posting trial dates however, there seems to be no mention of coaches who are appointed for the respective teams and age groups. Is this common practice? I am unfamiliar with this process. I suppose there are a few reasons why no mention of...

So where were the ground stewards for the offending teams/clubs? I thought FFSA requirements were that each team should have a person wearing the 'Ground Stewards' vest and making sure there own supporters/parents do the right thing. I've lost count this year the amount of times the opposition team...

I understand that since my son moved into federation senior soccer that the committe has been taken over by a self-serving egotist who when a coach only thought of the result and not the development and always ensured that he was given a team that was likely to be successful. I'm not really sure what it is to 'Have fun' when playing a sport. Some kids (and adults) enjoy clownng around and consider this to be fun while others try and emulate their heroes in whatever league. Those that enjoy the latter will get frustrated of they or there team mates don't have the same min...

Haven't had much to do with Drago apart from seeing him coach a couple of years ago. He is very passionate about what he does. no doubt. An in my opinion he is one that will sort the wheat from the chaff.

He talks a lot of sense in the video. While I do support the structure that is proposed, including the policing processes, the job ahead will take time and its mangers will come up against overt and covert resistance. For example, if there continues to be programs for elite players then there will n...
