Re: Blatter hails Aussie 'no worries' bid

I wouldn't trust Blatter as far as I could kick him.
He lied to us once before and he'll do it again without a trace of guilt.

I just hope that Frank sends Mossad after him if we don't get chosen!

Re: FIFA pair found guilty

Time for Blatter to postpone the 2022 bid decision until the investigation is completed.

There should probably be a revue of the entire procedure as a result of this.

Re: Man United make $160 million profit

The losses are purely down to paying off the owners debts,

It is time the FA brought in a rule preventing people from buying clubs with borrowed money and then putting the responsibility to repay the debt onto the club.

This is ruining the game.

"Locked In" Fear for Blackpool Youth Coach

Locked-in fear for ex-footballer Gary Parkinson The family of Blackpool FC youth coach Gary Parkinson have been told he may have a potentially deadly paralysis. The former player, 42, who had stints at Preston, Burnley and Blackpool, may be suffering from locked-in syndrome - a condition which has n...

Re: Greatest free-kick 'was no fluke' say physicists

It doesn't look that flash when you see it on paper but the vision of it shows just how fantastic it was.

I think being a left-footer allowed him to bend the ball the way it was but the sheer power behind it made it impossible for the keeper to react in time.

Re: Old Firm will join the Premier League - Dermot Desmond

After the incidents before, during and after the match in Manchester I don't think the EPL would be too keen on having that sort of problem on a weekly basis. The Scots are fantastic supporters at national level but when it comes to the Old Firm they turn into raving monsters. Growing up in Blackpoo...

Re: Carney to join Blackpool

Carney will get plenty of exposure and experience playing in the Premier League. I think he's made the right move as he will fit into Ollie's style very well and will get the chance to answer his critics, right or wrong, as well as test himself against the very best. Why wouldn't he take the opportu...

It's a Gay shirt for a team that played like a bunch of old poofters.

Actually, it looks like a 'Grand Dad shirt" - they play like that too.

Re: Blatter to scrap drawn games in group stages of WC final

There's no point in conjecture because Bladder will do whatever he and Germany agree on anyway.

I'll be at least three years before he makes his mind up and then will only enforce it if Germany agrees to it and has six months pre-knowledge of the changes before anyone else.

Re: Fabio Capello hints at David Beckham recall

It's a desperation ploy as Becks is still the only English player who can deliver a cross to a team mate's head from more than 5 metres away.

He's also still the best free kick taker they've got.

At least now there will be someone capable of hitting Crouch's head.

Re: Utrecht knock out Celtic

If Celtic are one of the two 'best' clubs in Scotland it doesn't say much for the rest! No wonder Macdonald scored so many goals up there. The Scottish FA needs to sort out it's development program, if they have one, before they implode due to a lack of talent. Perhaps the Deep Fried Mars bars are t...

Selection worries for Wenger ahead of Blackpool match

Of more pressing concern for Wenger, though, would appear to be in the centre of defence ahead of the visit of newly-promoted Blackpool, who produced the result of the opening day with a 4-0 victory at Wigan. Summer signing Laurent Koscielny will serve a suspension after his sending off for two late...

Looks like Blackpool might be able to sign a few players on the cheap then? Wouldn't be surprised if Holloway hasn't alrea...
