Anybody unsure of who is a better option than Kewell should read this, which I wrote back in January.

Hip flexor, only 6 weeks which is why I didn't consider it a World Cup ending injury. Could hurt his chances of starting though.Stuckey wrote:Good did something to his hip in the Ecuador game.

Re: Pre-season Results 8/9 March
Thanks to Steve and all the lads down at noarlunga for hosting us yesterday. Was a great hit out for both side, got a bit heated at time but I think that's just passion for the shirt coming thru. Big thanks to our travelling supporters and Good luck to noarlunga for the season ahead. Doesn't it alw...

Re: Mile Jedinak announced new captain
You guys are smoking crack. He is no way a good choice for the job. Just because he does an ok job at a lowly club like Crystal Palace does not mean that he will be a good choice for the socceroos. He has made some lacklustre performances for Australia recently and is definitely not ready to captai...

Re: Aus v Ecuador
I wouldn't be pushing any panic buttons yet. We were very good for a lot of the game. There are a lot of players out there who certainly struggled with the passing game Ange is attempting to implement. I was happy to see Timmy do well under it. Great to see the great man take the Socceroos scoring ...

Re: Fixtures
I think cause Hazara (aka Club Finger) was removed from the League which made 2 teams relegated from Sat Div 3 that only TV was Relegated and Hahndorf stayed up. But where did Prince Alfred come from did they finish in the top 2 in Sat Div 4 or are they East Adelaide with a new name. I would guess ...

Very hush hush. But if it's serious enough to make him withdraw from a squad where he could play for his country for the FIRST time, it must be pretty bad. Hope he gets whatever help he needs and gets his s**t together.Stuckey wrote:Do any Villa fans know what the story is?

Are all games 90mins or was there a change to this and reserves & C only play 80mins? Not sure about the reserves but the c grade have been 80 mins the last few years understandable as well as the use of interchange, but why should Ressies be 40mins, I know they can cut the ressies short if the...

Not great signs really. I feel Ange is prepping for the Asian Cup from now. He knows the WC we're making up the numbers so he's got 10 months to get a squad right to win the asian cup on home turf Sounds like Ange has been reading this!! http://footballcentral.com.au/socceroos-asian-cup-campaign-st...

Re: New faces for Socceroos March clash
I question this does create is who should be the captain? IMO Mile Jednak fits the bill. I don't think the Socceroos have too many other players captaining their EPL club ATM! It would also draw a nice line in the sand to say the time of playing the golden generation instead of blooding the next ge...

I think ALL CLUBS should be writing letters to the SAASL supporting loss of points and demotion to the bottom division of both clubs - without being able to get promotion for 3 years or alike. Absolute disgrace to the league and the game and absolutely not on That is hardly fair on any club in the ...
