Re: Arsenal 2014/2015
Surely Wenger now knows his time is up. It can’t just continue like this. Which makes me kinda sad cause this isnt a way a legend like him should go out, but we cant keep going down this same road season after season That was an absolute shambles. At HT I felt alright about it. We were in the game. ...

fair point
either way, we were totally cr@p and that decision wouldn't have changed the outcome of the match
worse still was that there didn't even seem to be any urgency to go out and get a result in that second half
totally toothless

Re: Arsenal 2014/2015
Was a game crying out for a solid defensive midfield but we got Coquelin & Ox. A starting combination from any of Giroud, Perez or Welbeck up front but we got Sanchez on his own who never got a single touch in the Chelsea penalty box. Losing’s one thing but it is just the inevitability of it al...

Re: Arsenal 2014/2015
Outplayed, outclassed and outmuscled We looked totally out of our depth Im a big Ozil fan, but he goes missing too often in these type of games. Sanchez had probably his worst game for us. Agree with Iwobi being a number 10. The kid has talent and is the future for us in that role. Chelsea just too...

Re: Arsenal 2014/2015
Absolutely shambolic first half. We were useless! What kind of defending was that for the second. And the throw in by Gabriel to Ramsey. Amateurish! With a game at home, and Chelsea dropping points this was a great chance to close the gap. And then possibly close it some more on the weekend. So what...

Swansea are heading down, but a 4-0 away win is always welcomed So much being made about Alexis' reaction to being subbed. Storm in a tea cup stuff really. He was fine after the game in the change rooms by all reports, but he also needs to just chill out a bit. yes we love his passion and his desire...

Re: Arsenal 2014/2015
absolutely woeful performance - at least for the first 70 minutes we were terrible. didn't even look like we would score and no shots on goal for the first half told the story glad we came away with a point, cause that's the most we deserved Perez's goal was the highlight for me. Excellent finish. H...

Re: Arsenal 2014/2015
Though the first Man City goal should have been given offside, and the second one was questionable, it still doesn’t excuse the level of performance from Arsenal. Poor all over. Here was a chance for us to stand up and make a statement that we’re not the ‘same ol Arsenal’ that crumbles under pressur...

Re: Arsenal 2014/2015
Promising signs.
But we've been in this position before in years gone by.
Just need to remain consistent and not have our usual dip.
And a deeper squad will definitely help. If we have 2-3 players go down, we'll have adequate cover.

Re: Arsenal 2014/2015
We were just lucky that PSG couldn't finish Could have easily been 3-4 goals down before we got our equaliser (though Iwobi could have snatched it in the end) We didn't play well at all so i'll take the point away from home. Sanchez's best role is coming in from out wide. He's not a number 9. Why wa...

Re: Arsenal 2014/2015
Overall im happy with the business Wenger has done in this transfer window (haven't said that too often over the years)
He strengthened two key areas for Arsenal and sent some guys out on loan who need regular game time and will be better for it when they return

Re: Arsenal 2014/2015
Wilshere off to Bournemouth for the season. Decent set up there but he's going to be under the pump a bit in midfield most games. Maybe the making of him, hope so. I think he's better off there playing under Eddie Howe than at Palace under Pardew. And if he can stay fit, he'll be starting week in, ...

Re: Arsenal 2014/2015
Rumour has it he is heading to Italy with Juve circling would be a good move for him if true. He could go somewhere, play week in, week out, get properly match fit, get properly match sharp, and that would then give Wenger something to think about when he gets back. Cause without playing regularly ...

Re: Arsenal 2014/2015
Bit of a surprise that they're considering allowing Wilshere to go out on loan, surely he'd be in their best 11? Nah not at the minute Cyril - Xhaka and Santi play the 5 and 6 roles with Elneny/Coq in front of him i would say. On ability he trumps them but as we all know he hasn't played consistent...

Re: Arsenal 2014/2015
Ramsey out for a month Iwobi still to be confirmed Why does it always seem to be Arsenal who cop this many injuries season after season. Re: Arsenal 2014/2015
Another win, but another injury This time to our one remaining senior CB - not sure how bad the damage is for Gabriel, but no doubt he'll miss the Liverpool game. It didn't look good. Early reports say it was an ankle. And with no new signing in sight, Wenger will be left with Calum Chambers (21 yea...

Re: Arsenal 2014/2015
Good hit out v MLS allstar team. Some very good performances - Holding made his debut, played 90mins and looked solid at the back. Xhaka played 45 and dominated the middle of the park, playing well with Elneny. Ox looked sharp after his injury lay off linking up well with Jack Wheelchair. Theo very...

Re: Arsenal 2014/2015
I just don’t get it.
For years we’ve been needing a world class striker. And the best we could do is Jamie Vardy?
And let’s be honest, he’s had one decent season in how many? 4-5?
I really hope it works out to be a great purchase, but I can’t help but feel this is the wrong move

Koscielny to be named new captain.
More transfers on the way.
Should be a big off-season for Arsenal.

I love how the so called 'protest' over Wenger ended up being a whole lot of nothing More fans were cheering/chanting/singing Wenger's praises than were protesting with their little A4 sheets of paper Though I have no doubt the majority of Arsenal fans agree that change is needed, I'm glad that they...

Re: Arsenal 2014/2015
Leicester are playing for the title this weekend. Man U are playing for 4th. My money's on Leicester But I agree, id rather win the FA Cup, than nothing at all. And I reckon if you asked the Arsenal players if they could be given 4th spot and the season ends now, they'd take it. We've looked totally...
