Re: Best Junior Coach
drago and konstantopoulos by far I don't think so! There OK, but you must remember BOTH drafted and tore apart(quite wisely, and cunningly) zone teams & sapsasa squads. Drago dragged u11 zone team to cambelltown when he coached the zones and worked with them well. Some very good players of that...

Please-Not vidmar. He's crap, always was and still is.
We need a proven Aussie coach. Preferably an Aussie, Arnold or postecoglou.

Re: I am not going to play football anymore
Certainly understand where you are coming from, but can also definitely see where the club is coming from, especially is there will now be 26 game seasons for all the junior teams of Prem League clubs. This is also how the state league clubs will gain a lot of well coached (in theory at least as co...

Now, what club do you represent during and after school hours? No one will hold it against you, if anything it will put more relevance to your comments. Everyone else that has contributed to the discussion is not afraid to mention their club. I'm at Croydon, been there for a few years. Have many fri...

Again; what club are you at?[/quote] What's that got to do with it? What club someone from?? Why are you afraid to say what club you represent? Maybe you just represent your son's interests? I don't know. Telling us which club you speak for is not a criminal offence. Giving an opinion is fine, as lo...

Re: 2014 Junior League
Ffsa should not allow an u17's in 2014. It's really a waste of time, clubs are only interested in dollars. It's not junior development IMO. This is why 16's was bought back, and 19's out for 18's. don't do it ffsa. I presume that you're not on the committee, otherwise your club would not have an U1...

Re: results in juniors finals
This is the great debate.......do you play the regular squad or drop those higher. Neither is right or wrong at the end of the day I believe the cup is a different competition to that of the regular season and it is there to be won. I have no problem with players coming down if they are of the corr...

Why would it matter? Are you trying to settle a bet at the pub about who won a final 17 years ago? Yeh! I want to tell my kids and remind my family how good I was... And, I could've made, but the coach was playing me off the bench lot And, he was putting his son in the centre every game And, his so...

Simple! Don't push them up to early to please parents!
And Leave kids in their proper age groups to develop if their not ready.
And relax in the EGO's

What happened last year involved a few not the whole club. Re: Personal coaching
Unfortunately, get used to it. Many kids suffer because of coaches with their sons playing preffered positions. And it's all about their sons. Some don't want to let go and coach their kids most if their junior careers. And push their own kids up as much as they can. As for the coaching, there's tim...
