Re: Womens NPL results
UPDATE: Lisa De Vanna trialled very well, was technically sound and a great leader. The only factor letting her down was her lack of commitment to the whole WNPL season. The club could not offer her a place in the squad for 2016. Fulham United FC would like to thank Lisa for attending her trial with...

Re: Shame Shame Shame - WTF is going on in Womens soccer
very much agree, both teams have an interesting approach. I teach my kids no opposition then there is no competition, so respect. To be a prems club your were meant to have a perimeter fence, a basic start and you would consider a basic for player safety at that level as well as a race to and from ...

Re: Metro United vs Adelaide City
As I do not follow Metro or City, I thought it was a great game between two rivals. I was on the eastern side of the game and was not able to see what caused the incident. However, I saw a game with intensity, aggression and skills. It was the best game I have seen for a long time. Metro were compl...

Re: Hello Forumites where have you been?
The Women's Forum is stagnating. No one actually talks about the football anymore. Most topics are started by people who enjoy hiding behind a computer screen and continually complain about anything and everything. Bring back discussions about weekend games, upcoming players...you know, topics that ...

Re: Photos
I absolutely agree playercoach; whether it be Prems, Reserves or Open Div. The sad reality is that most players (and also coaches) don't get recognition for the effort and hard work they put in season after season. No amount of photos will change this - unless you are a professional model

Can anyone tell me why the FFSA doesnt make an attempt to have photos taken of reserve games. Some of the reserve games are of equal quality as some prem games. We should show case some of our young up and coming players in the reserve league. They work as hard as any one else out there. Playercoac...

I think we need to get as many spectators to the games as possible. A-League memberships will do this. These membership holders may even bring one or two non-membership holders (full paying spectators) with them. LET'S GET PEOPLE TO THE GAMES!

Re: Premier League Referees Choice
Best and Fairest, if you get red carded ( not two yellows) a Direct red card you should be ineligible. I disagree. 1. I think any sort of match suspension should see any player ineligible. Whether it is 2 yellow cards in one game = red = match suspension OR 5 Yellow cards (or what ever the number i...

Premier League Referees Choice
Currently watching the Brownlow Medal and it made me think of the following question..... Do players with match suspensions during a season become ineligible to win the Referees Choice Award? Not just in the Premier League, but all divisions. What are the rules for the men's leagues? If no such rule...

Re: Adelaide Airport Premier League Results Round 21
Metro decimated by injuries to key players for the Cup Final. Could lose 4-5 players. That doesn't sound good... injuries just from general play or from unlucky tackles? Who have they potentially lost? Hope the injuries aren't too serious! All injures sustained by Metro players were non-contact. On...

Everything the NSR do to get players into a college are all things the player/parent can do on their own (minus the expenses given by the NSR). Simple as Googling NCAA Div 1 Colleges, find ones that have soccer programs, make a short list of the colleges you are interested in (academic program, loca...

Re: U15 & U17 team question
Hi Johnydep, I totally agree with Juniorsupporter - look to a reserves side (again only if you think the players would be able to handle it). I know many current and former Wleague/WNSL players who started playing seniors (reserves and/or premier league) around the ages of 12-14. Just like the Junio...
