The standard of referee's hasn't dropped. The numbers have. Due to continuous harrassment from teams. Both physical and verbal. Officials go out week in week out to help run the games. They make a mistake or two and they are threatened or bashed. Get a grip, are we serious??? Why can't we just go o...

Re: One Tree Hill Vs Northern Wolves... All in brawl

Same story different year/club. Clubs need to breakaway from the do nothing toothless
Bunch that are the saasl. Not saying federation but if enough clubs feel strongly
About this they need to form their own Amateur league. It is not difficult if you keep the "Amateur"
Philosophy front of mind.

How many training sessions were cancelled this year (7 months soccer season - give or take a few weeks for pre-season)? I heard Campbelltown didn't play for more than just a few weeks due to bad pitch. The younger teams only train once, maybe twice a week not 3 (correct me if I'm wrong) - so your r...

Really enjoyed watching the girls play, some really tough challenges without the petulant rolling about of the so called mens side. The difference is asian women go in harder than their male countrymen.

The skill level is improving as well, go matildas.

Personally i think a club in the amateur league shouldn't pay anyone. The clue is in the name. However, if clubs want to them we live in a capitalist society so let them. Again I agree with GIAE. That is 2 now from all his posts. Going for a hat trick. My question is. When SAASL 1st started was the...

Pulteney Old Scholars are $270, for that you get to pack all the cabernet away at the end of training, help set up the BBQ on game day, put the nets up (and down) cook the snags, stock up the eskies with beer, take the piss out of the Scottish lads and now and again you get to kick a football :) Li...

As some of you may know, I moved to Brisbane about 3 years ago. There were a few to choose from around where I live and so after about 3 minutes of resea...
