I think you are referring to the fake jets aka modbury soccer club. Modbury Jets have won div 1 for the last 3 seasons

Re: Challenge Cup

Yeah it has been quite a feat for the downs to make the final.

2 x div 3 teams in preliminary rounds

Bye in the quarter finals and a team that had 2 of their better players sent off the week before the semi finals

Certainly are world beaters down there at argana park

I'm hearing there are ref's ready and waiting to officiate amateur games however unwilling to do so with the current structure. what structural issues exist that could be so bad that refs are forfeiting the chance to earn money by reffing ggames Getting paid might be one of them. What has the saasl done in recent times to not only get more ref's on board but to also ensure clubs are getting a decent standard for the service they are paying for? Re: Referee Crisis

Unfortunately this has been on the cards for sometime now. Sassl seem more interested in palming off as much to fsa as they can rather than working to fix the existing issues themselves. What has the saasl done in recent times to not only get more ref's on board but to also ensure clubs are getting ...

Re: Over 35's Friday v Sunday Debacle

My news is that 15 clubs have registered for over 35's this year with the increase in numbers being due to the possibility of Friday nights rather than Sundays. League had been looking to split it into 2 competitions and accidently released a draft fixture list, of the teams that had fixtures on Sun...

Re: Season 2020

I think any opportunity to return to playing must be taken even if at a reduced number of games per season. However, if a full home and away fixture list cannot be completed then I think promotion/relegation needs to be reduced to 1 team with a playoff between top 2 teams for promotion and bottom 2 ...

What's the go with players receiving a 2nd red card for the season and only serving 1 game still? Surely if someone is sent off even for 2 yellow card offenses that should result in a 2 game ban and so on .. ie 3 red cards 3 game suspension. Shouldn't each and every incident be judged on its own me...

As for verbal abuse, as long as it is not threatening or too far over the top, is part and parcel of ...

Ok. Penalty was retaken for a farm player entering the box to early, how it impacted the resulting goal I don't know but ref said they are the rules so fair enough.
