how many w league players do AC have in their squad? Also anyone know what happened re her signing for heidelberg? real shame she did not return to cambelltown just to strengthen them and make them more competitive.

Re: Chidiac to Heidelberg United
from rumours and club talk a few w league players from various clubs apparently are going to play at heidelberg in 2017, which is disappointing as will weaken the strength of our wnpl, but hey that's how it is.

Re: New Coach required For Adelaide United 2017-2018 season
unless campbelltown and SI have recruited well unfortunately, I cannot see them being competitive in the WNPL, campbelltown were involved in a playoff at the end of last year with cumberland and could not beat them with AC in the team and if rumours are correct and she is leaving to play at heidelbe...

Re: Clubs That Will Not Meet The Criteria
most or all clubs try to meet the criteria but in SA the expectations for the criteria are very difficult to meet for many clubs, and with the current success of the W AFL league it will become even harder to meet in the future. The concept is good but in reality there are limited junior and senior ...

Re: Chidiac to Heidelberg United
from much info on this topic it seems many AU squad players are going to heidelberg ,firstly Paid or unpaid to play?? secondly obviously heidelberg will have a large number of W league players in there squad? obviously there is no rule in their wnpl competition that clubs have a limit of W league pl...

Re: New Coach required For Adelaide United 2017-2018 season
yes hear strong rumours a number of the local wnpl players who were in the AU w league squad are playing interstate in the wnpl in 2017, with a strong connection to Heidelberg. Really if players are good enough they will be targeted and get an opportunity no matter where they play. However it is dis...

Re: Information on the WNPL
when did they announce this? if they did so and have a 10 team comp as it is rumoured then they would need at least 1 double headers each week to put all games in at the parks or the shores.

Re: Adelaide United Women's Football Club to Enter the WNPL
IMO, if this proposal goes ahead, once again clubs get the raw end of the stick, Most Clubs will lose their best young players, and if that is not bad enough then they will need to play against them and competition will most likely be very one sided, with AU dominating. What is the point of the othe...

Re: Parra Hills granted Npl licence for 2017
Interesting, how many clubs/teams that meet the state/wnpl criteria will choose to nominate for state league to increase team numbers. Firstly How many clubs meet the criteria? and if ffsa withdraw a team from state league where do they play?? then one less also? if Noarlunga do not have a reserves ...

Re: Parra Hills granted Npl licence for 2017
I would think a relegated team would not be reinstated otherwise what is the point of originally relegating them? If the rule says bottom team automatically relegated then that is it, relegation, but as with most things ffsa do they do what ever they like and only give most rules and regulations lip...

Re: Womens and Girls Cup Quarter Finals
Sorely the ffsa would have checked pitch availability when they brought out the original fixtures list for the cup semi finals, But then again maybe not. You would hope not but I would think that some player availability may now be affected by this change, due to work commitments etc.

I hear at least one of the cup semi for the Prems-WNPL teams Uni v Fulham has been brought forward?? For those not at the wnpl games friday night, A situation occured during the WA v PH game, where i have been advocating for a number of years there should be an interchange rule at all levels of soccer it is a duty of care issue and an occupational health and safety issue. A Situation occured where ...

the last 2 posts +1, very good, nothing done at ffsa is transparent just need to go back when they asked clubs by email/not discussed at ffsa meetings, as they do not want clubs to know what other clubs are thinking, its all about send us an email of your thoughts and we will decide based on feedbac...

Re: 4 WNPL Teams Failed To Meet The Criteria
yes sportsbird, thank you for pointing it out , seems made a 'rare' mistake haha. :) :) Probably re comets situation probably best they did not play in NWPL in 2016 and if they are good enough and can manage to win the wsl they will be promoted in 2017, as I would think and expect the quality of the...

Re: 4 WNPL Teams Failed To Meet The Criteria
Sorry sportsbird , comets, no U15 so do not meet requirements for wnpl, other recent wrong statements made. (It appears Sturt Marion hierarchy have conceded they are unable to meet the criteria and have indicated they will withdraw from WNPL and re-nominate for the State League in 2016. The FFSA wil...

oh dear if this allegation is accurate further Sh...t will hit the fan, obviously does not matter if you meet the criteria or not?? stirling did the right thing to accept could not meet criteria, advised ffsa , now it seems/alleged are forced to play in wsl? that being said if fined for no reserves,...
