Re: Rules for some, then rules for others.

The vitriolic responses are most interesting, especially from so called supporters of Man U. I'm dirty on Chelsea because they got caught out at something every club all over the world does. AND YES THAT DOES REFLECT POORLY ON THEIR ADMINISTRATION PETER K OR WHO EVER. So don't give me CRAP about how...

What one FIFA delegate really thinks about England's WC bid

It's not about football Thu Oct 08 09:06AM In 2007, FIFA vice-president Jack Warner said this about England's 2018 World Cup bid: "There are moves to give it to England and I must fight that. If, by chance, in 2018 the World Cup were to go to Europe, I'm quite sure, with the English luck as it...

In the English papers - Liverpool owner to sell out

Liverpool co-owner George Gillett is ready to bail out and offload his 50 per cent stake in the club to a Saudi prince. A lack of transfer funds has not made the American the most popular man on Merseyside and the Daily Mirror reports that he is set to travel to the Middle East in a bid to sell off ...

Re: Champions League - Team news: Blues depleted

I agree with you that it some times appears that clubs want/need instant success to keep up with the expense of being a top club, hence they go out and buy players who can play first team football straight away, but hasn't Chelsea just been banned from the transfer market for grabbing hold of a kid,...

I object to paying to enter a tipping comp.

There are better ones around, complete with prize pools etc.

no entry fee and a hell of a lot more tipsters.
