Re: Socceroos World Cup Campaign

Poor coaching at the end of the game from Arnie. He looked to be going for a win, when he should of settled for a draw and closed the game down. When you have an away point against one of the powerhouse teams with 10 minutes to go you don't go all out and risk the loss. Now we must get a result agai...

Well we will go there have a nice stay in the Brazilian resort town, get well beaten by Spain and Netherlands, have a good shot at upsetting Chile, collect the US$8 million, and come home. :)

Hotel prices in Rio are out of control.
Expect to pay $300 USD per night in a 3 star hotel as a minimum.

Re: Rogic

Rogic and Oar are two good young prospects, both just starting out on there international careers. At least they are both playing in Europe instead of the Middle East.

Give them time, they will be playing for the national team for many years to come.

really? I ever knew that!!
Don't know much about your own club then!

Read about the Fergus McCann takeover of the early 90's, then you will know how close they were to being declared bankrupt.

Bayern were brilliant.
I don't care if 2 of the Bayern goals were iffy.

They totally outclassed Barca for the full 90 minutes.

Re: Can the sport convert juniors into supporters?

One of the problems I see in getting our junior players into supporters is the parents not being into our game. How many times have you been standing on the sidelines of junior training or games and all the parants are talking about is the AFL, hardly any of them talk much about our code. So ther li...
