Re: Adelaide Utd 2022-23 a season to forget

Just read Miley Grigg 'the youngest Adelaide United debutant' & congratulations to her but you have to ask 'Why Stenta'. This game was (0 - 1) still in the balance & you introduce a youngster(who appears is still learning the offside rule)at such a critical time yet an experienced goalscore...

Re: Adelaide Utd 2022-23 a season to forget

United were very good against Canberra. Move the ball around well. Unfortunately a few keeper errors meant they had to settle for a draw but they were good value.

Re: AWARDS NIGHT

You would’ve thought Lastella was a standout and clear winner. If not him, Scalzi or Monsigneur won all the trophies between them. Goddard did a good job with birks. Team of the year had a couple interesting selections too.

Re: Season 2023.

Relegation battle is heating up with 3 games to go. Uni 13pts - have Metro, NTC, Flinders Flinders 12pts - have Birks, City, Uni Fulham 12pts - have Comets, Inter, Metro Fulham would need an upset I think to get off the bottom against a tough run home. The 9th place team match vs 2nd in state leagu...

Re: EPL 21/22

The penalty decision could be given but Gordon diving earlier in the game went against him. There wasn’t a clear and obvious error so VAR couldn’t intervene in my opinion. I’ve seen softer penalties given, but also seen harsher fouls missed.

West Adelaide bear vista 9-0

A bit of work for comets to do?

Re: Under 14 Cup CC v NU

As a coach of juniors I would of adjusted the team once the win was obvious. I would of reduced the number in my side to make the players work harder and learn to play with a numeric disadvantage. I would of explained my reasons to the players for this and the benefits it will bring going forward. ...

So the junior girls fixtures haven’t fully been released yet which is poor considering the games start this weekend. We did get the first two rounds sent out last weekend which would be good if the federation didn’t then change round 1. I only noticed we had a venue and time change as I was doing my...

1-1. Could have gone top leading into the international break. Walcott unlucky in the first half when he nearly broke a post. A soft penalty awarded by the ref to Spurs. A very good crowd at the Arkaba watched this tense match on the big screens. We would've knocked you off top even if you did jag ...

Re: Man Utd

Rodgers always struck me as a phoney and a bit of a knob tbh. As germans go Klopp comes across as pretty likeable, as is the way his teams play. Him coming over looks like being a positive for our league though I reckon he’ll go the same way as Wenger, one world class striker short of the two reall...

Well done Patty Dangerfield on the brownlow win. Just proves that once you play in a Victorian team, you get more votes! Well deserved. He has had the best individual season I've ever seen. Wonder how they'll go against Spurs tonight? If they lose this, Klopp's future could well be in doubt, particularly with a Chinese conglomerate in the background wanting to take over the club. :?: Why would they sack Klopp? You're as daft as a brush. Anyhow, a slightly dubious penalty with next to ...

Emre can and firmino are more than squad players along with Clyne too. Good first half. Should've had another goal or two and at least one penalty to go with it but that's no excuse. It's not really worth celebrating finishing above tottenham. It's not an achievement. This season was arsenals best chance to win the league is a long time and they blew it. At least Spurs were in the title race for most of the season.

It's a shame we've hit our form 2-3 games too late. We could've easily made top 4. Europa league win is a must! Everton are a joke of a club. Martinez won't be there next season especially if they don't win the FA cup.

Penalty was a bit soft. Did catch the player first though. Carrick should've put his laces through the ball instead of just tapping it. Silly play there. Deserved lead anyways. Should've been more.
