Re: Skillaroo u/14

How do you assess and come to the conclusion that they 'are not developing' ? By the results ? If they are not the best kids, please inform us which kids were missed and should be in there ? 8) your a good man but you're missing all the info :| go back & have a look at how long the Feds have ha...

Re: FFA U/13 Skilleroos 2012

unfortuantly, junior clubs are part time, so the FFA has no choice but to intervene and create elite programs for the elite kids. i dont think parents of these selected kids will complain about it! think about it, european/sth american countries - their own FA would never intervene in youth developm...

Re: breakaway

Does anybody out there in football land know what the ramifications are in relation to the breakaway clubs and if there juniors are playing in the JPL or JSL. I think its about time some of the movers in this saga let us parents know. I've heard that as they are no longer under the umbrella of FFSA...

Re: JPL or State League???????

Agree with Zeljko, Raiders had a strong 11's who now appear in 12 c????????? Salisbury - no 11's - now 12 a????????????? Seems the twelves league has been drafted on last years 12's results. I know the guy is new however when you don't consult with the clubs and the strength of their development gr...

Re: U16A relegation - what gives?

Given the FFSA memo a while ago that stated the 17As next season will be 10 teams - pretty poor luck for the top 2 in the 16Bs who buseted their guts to gain promotion and then be told you are staying in the Bs... ouch!

Re: RAIDERS FC Reserves and u19 Coaches required

I would think that the Ad is up there only for protocol reasons. My clubs constitution says that ALL paid positions must be made public.
I highly doubt Raiders and Kossie are sitting on thier hands expecting quality applications through an ad. then again. who knows!

Re: Small Sided Football in 2009

The question Red Mum should be how much does it cost per hour? If they will be doing it for say 2 hours a week for say 30 weeks that’s 60 hours in the year. Divide $275 by 60 hours, it equates to under $5 a session. So for your son to be out there, it costs less then $5 a session, to cover the cost...

Re: AFPP - UK Style Academy Camp 6th - 10th January 2009

FFSA and SASI officially endorse NO private academies, to suggest otherwise is mis-leading. I dont know too much about this program but I do know a lot of people throughout the game in SA and you seem to be the only person telling the world how ground breaking, etc your program is. Now, I applaud y...

My kid went out to AFPP and absolutely loved it. John Walker is a straight shooter and calls a spade a spade. Very honest which goes a long way for me.

Re: SSG presentations

If clubs wanted to play other clubs in a small sided games format, wouldnt it be easy just for each game to follow the senior team. for example. if Adelaide city seniors are playing Blue eagles seniors at marden, the ssg should be adelaide city v blue eagles at marden on the sunday? that way you don...

Re: Youth Football Festival in Kaposvár City, Hungary, 2008.

I have heard recently, that blue eagles are considering sending a team over to this festival. To my knowledge A WHOLE age group, would this mean that they would have to forfeit the games in the JPL they would miss in there absence or can they request postponement from the F.F.S.A. ?????????? I thin...

Re: 17A Sides In 2008

ABE will be the side to beat in 17As comp 2008. Cup finalists and top 2 championship placings in last 2 years (16s ). Team mostly intact and nice new pickps with some talent. Watch out Metro and AC , the BEs are out to get you. Forget what the 15As of last year (PH and others) did, this is a real 1...

Does seem to be an impressive suite of junior coaches, also Mick Doyle in the seniors looking after the Reserves and 19s who is excellent at identifying talent and early development. Raiders will be a real football hub when they can get the grounds up to scratch.
