Re: Adebayor closes on City move
Arsenal will be laughing to get that much money for him. Completely replaceable I'm not surprised that the gooners aren't fussed. It's crazy considering I wouldn't play him ahead of Tevez, Santa Cruz and Robinho.

Re: FIFA Rankings, AUSTRALIA ranked 16th in the world!
Great news for the world cup groupings. A good indication of who is getting decent match practice, I also love how we are above Portugal. Czech republic, and Turkey somehow. lol how on earth did we rank higher than Portugal? Haha that is awesome. Take that :P I would rate us above the Czechs on cur...

Re: Owen to Man Utd
Interesting one. Don't think it's a bad move on the part of United, I would still take him if he stays fit. Good news for England too I guess, strengthening a potential partnership with Rooney - which used to be one of the deadliest strike forces in international football.

I think he's overrated. Scored a lot of goals last season but I think he's not a big club player. I don't even think he deserves to be at Liverpool let alone Barca

Still plenty of hate to go around. I understand people that say Drogba. If we could find a ready-made replacement for him I'd so love to get rid of him myself. Sir Alex Rooney Mascha Gallas Sagna Diouf Bellamy Tottenham Hotspur  Oh so much to still go around, and I'll still hate Cronaldo from a...

Re: Chelsea hire Ancelloti
While i don't think he'll have instant success, with money Ancelotti will do fine i reckon. The only concern is that he's building a team for the CL, which is great, but I dunno if it translates to EPL success, Liverpool are a good testament to that. Whilst I see where you're coming from given that...

Re: Chelsea hire Ancelloti
cant wait to see how he uses the new russian star Yuri Zurkov http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WslrR4sTHeE some awesome skill there, compared to ronaldinho Would find it a lot harder to create a highlight reel like that in the premiership. But I do like that he stays on his feet. Obvious skill there....

Little part of me died this morning. Out of the 4 claims, you can't say not one of them was a penalty. All of them would have been given on another day. The referee was consistently horrible for both teams yes, but at the end of the day it was Chelsea that suffered for it not Barcelona. Drogba was r...

It was like Arsenal didn't know what to do with the ball once they got to the 18 yd box. They were lucky they didn't get pumped.

The only thing that annoyed me this morning is shiraz Craig Foster. He is such a chardonnay... Chelsea's defense did well, Henry was the only real threat for most of the game, but even then Essien held him well. Drogba nearly snuck one too. Game two will be interesting, I wouldn't be surprised if C...

Mate, Dan could ask for 200k a week and it would be completely reasonable   But in all seriousness, Agger + Skrtel could be (depending on whether or not he stays) the best CB partnership going around. He's definitely talented enough, it's just that injuries have held him back like you sa...

Re: Manchester United's Penalty
I don't think it was as clear cut as a lot the United supporters seem to claim it was. I actually think it was about as hazy as it gets. Seeing it in real time on the TV I thought Gomes clearly got the ball. Seeing some of the replay angles looked like his touch was negligible. Carrick was definatel...

It's possible but they have a couple of tough fixtures remaining and the more I see them play the less I think they can do it. Hope Shearer becomes a quality manager though one day.

Love the bit where he's going off on Ashley Cole about his Mrs and you can see JT in the background losing it. Steven Gerrard impersonation is gold.

Great header from Newcastle, to draw the game. It was. Always good to see a local boy come up with the goods for his team.
