Clutching at straws, poor response. An idiot attacks you on the field and you're supposed to just stand there? At least Alderman came back to screw you in a few test series after his recovery. Yes, in the act of getting king-hit by a pom ground invader. King hit  Not in "legal" terms, but do you seriously think that the invader didn't do anything wrong, struck him or caused the injury? The invader struck him (pretty lightly) and definitely in the wrong. However, he didn't cause the ...

Vietnam v Australia 0-1. A header by ex-mullet man Rhyan Grant just before half-time. Horrible pitch, terrible humidity, scrappy performance but got the win thankfully. Bomber Poland v England tomorrow morning. Predict draw. Who knows, we are very inconsistent and the recent 4-1 win over Albania was quite flattering (so I'm told). All I know is if we finish group in second place I will be content. 4:1 flattering? If you can look at the 3rd goal. Lewandowski create...

My translation:

England lose on penalties - "couldn't beat us in proper time"

England win cricket world cup (couldn't beat NZ in "proper time") - "who cares, we are the champions"

Get it yet? ;-)

Yep, there's enough drunks at the cricket as it is. ;-)

So how effectual were the barmy army during those 5-0 beltings?

Could have lost by bigger margins.
Could have been less, you'll never know, all that extra pressure, all the distractions etc etc.
