Most can barely trap the ball and hit 5 meter targets.
You clearly spend more time in womens football forums than actually watching it. Maybe go back under your rock.

Re: WNPL and State sports Park

Another weekend where games are played on Friday night, Saturday evening/night and Sunday. I have been to a wnpl game in the last 5 weeks. Saturday evenings are ludicrous. Went and watched a team become premiers at West Beach on Friday night, didn't care where it was being played, didn't care that ...

When the current "coach of the month" from Vista has been messaging players across the WNPL saying they're looking for minimum 16 new players I would say so.

Feel sorry for all the existing players. Sounds identical to the men's set-up.

If fixtures are released months in advance, and clubs are having their home & away strips audited by FSA as early as two months ago, why doesn't the refs group predetermine the strip allocation at the start of the season instead of clubs receiving it from the FSA two days before the game and ref...

You may want to check and re-visit your reply. Since the new owners or during the past ownership? I am correct for the time frame I am talking about ie 2015-2017 ? I'm talking 2019. You said AUFC - pretty sure AUFC did not run the W-League side in 2015-17. Check what? That players weren't training ...

It started but was killed off by someone within AUFC whom stated that the girls could/would not be permitted to train in the off season with the previous youth team. Whatever he wanted to do was killed off when she exercised her edict. Incorrect. Players did train with the AUFC NPL side in the W-Le...

Unfortunate result (losing it in injury time), but great to see so many WNPL players involved against a strong side (6 starting and 1 off the bench, representing 5 different clubs).

Three players from the most successful NWSL team in the last 3 years, North Carolina Courage, with US International Lynn Williams arguably the pick of the bunch. Re: Matildas being paid a quarter of average wage

New minimum is $16,500. $12,000 is funded by the collective TV deal. So clubs are obliged to fund a minimum of $4,500 per player. At a squad of 20, that's less than a $100k that's needed at a minimum. Would the women’s team even generate $100k of turnover? Let alone profit? Are you insinuating that...

More rounds for W league, then increased training in the WNPL, players going back to WNPL & spending most of the year training twice a week is enough to increase the standard of Australian women’s football. Is or isn't? Because if it's "isn't" then I agree, however many hurdles to jum...

The Federation also ensured me they would work with United to help them achieve WNPL acc...

Would’ve thought that playing alongside Polkinghorne at Brisbane would be her best bet. Agree about Matildas backline weakness but another good option Liz Ralston wasnt taken to France either. I’m not sure that the refs are the best people to decide player of the year. After all, they are focused on reffing the games, not on how players are doing their jobs. And in the past, the winners of this award have tended to be the better players on mediocre teams. I would argue that City, and for...

So according to these rules, if a club was hit by sickness or general loss of players (2015 Metrostars Mens team lost 5 players in a week) they would not be able to promote any players to their reserves team unless they had already played 6 games during the season?
