Re: Most successful coaches

Ah, memories .....

1975 Parafield Coach was George Hanstock

1978 Because Inter and Parafield were joint winners, Madison Park 21 (Larry Craker) were Runners-up

1983 Tea Tree Gully Coach was Larry Craker (not Len)

Cheers

Re: GHAN UNITED

Neutral, I have seen Ghan a few times this season and I thoroughly enjoyed their game against TTG today. Both sides threw everything at each other and TTG fought back from 3-1 down at the end to draw 3-3, assisted by a couple of yellow/red cards for Ghan, one of which led to a penalty. Ghan played w...

Just a comment about the SAASL site, App, etc : I know a third party designed the newer stuff, but nowhere on the p...

A's: Florina 2 Tea Tree Gully 1 B's: Florina 5 Tea Tree Gully 4 I hear a certain referee was again handing out yellow and red cards in the A's like there was no tomorrow - every week it seems to be the same !!! Robbie, curious why original game didn't go ahead at Gardens.

And now to be played at Farm?

Full time 1-0 UP THE ORANGE & BLACK! Well done to Brahma Lodge on their win in the ressies today. We were our own worst enemies out on the park, missing chances and not playing as a team. Brahma weren't as physical as I thought however, (and don't take this as an excuse for losing the game to a...

Steve's decision to call off the game was also not disputed. I guess anyway we look at it, in the end the ref made the decision like we both have said so lets just agree on that. Close, but no coconut. No, I think most would agree that his decision not to go ahead with the match was heavily influen...

Fulham v West Beach A and C grade postponed. B grade 4-3 to Beach. B teams were happy to play on a smaller pitch although full size by FIFA standards more suited to our junior boys teams at the lower end - 12s and 13s. A teams didn't want to play on either of the 2 smaller pitches and both main pit...

Re: Promototed and Relegated Teams

Was speaking to an official from the SAASL last week and he believed Bosna were not going to re nominate next year and that 2 teams would have to be relegated from each division as a minimum as this is in the constitution with 3 teams being promoted from Div 3. Meaning Macedonia and Beograd being r...

Blue eagles knew the pitch was a disgrace, they could have easily had the game played at west beach. You won the Div 2 Sunday amateurs. You're not that special. Try whingeing as a sport, you'd probably win gold. Major Tom, every reply posted on this topic by you has contained either general or pers...

GARDENS EAST 0-0 A tough battle for Gardens on the top pitch against a physical, well organised East side. Gardens should have killed the game in the first half after at least a couple of glaring missed chances, and paid for it as the game became congested and in places spiteful. The referee played...
