He has been a revelation since he came to the club.

Some pepole are never satisfied. Scott did as he was told by Pim - that's one of his strengths - the ability to sacrifice his own game for the team. Why else do you think Pim kept him on the field? He was constantly making runs and drawing defenders away from the ball to open up the defence - that's...

I said in a previous post that we should play with Kennedy and McDonald up front and Carney on the left as defensive cover. Thanks for listening Pim.    It was a very professional display - they secured the result in the first half and then simply played the game out to the ...

Yeah, I caught it too.
I was in the bog fidling with the radio in the hope that some station may be giving score-updates and stumbled on it.

Thank God for Aunty.

Carney would do well as left-sided defensive cover in a 2 up front - 5 in midfield - 3 at the back formation.

He has the pace to catch most players that manage to break away.

I'll be interested to see his starting 11 and their formation. I'd like to see us start out with Josh kennedy and Scott MacDonald up front and five across midfield. We need to pound them with everything we've got and Josh is the man to put the pressure on their defensive wall, but he needs someone s...

Unfortunately money speaks louder than patriotism. Under John Howard there were more deals done 'under the table' than in all the previous governments put together. The federal liberal party long ago recognised the money to be made from our code and used this knowledge to broker a secret deal with F...

Dickov is a proven scorer and will hopefully add a bit of 'oomph' to our forward line.

Larry's signings were late but all seem to be quality.

Clubs will now not be so reluctant to to allow players from 'minor' nations to represent their countries.

This can only be good for us.

Running a club as a democracy is like a committee designing a horse - you end up with a camel! :P

Players, clubs and supporters have their own ideas on loyalty and none agree. Players are loyal to clubs if they are treated well and paid well but if a better offer comes along they move because it's their job - just like you would do in your job. Clubs are loyal to players as long as they are perf...

Liverpool fans and those who hate them must read this

Last week was the fiftieth anniversary of one of the strangest comebacks of all time! The 21st December 1957, Huddersfield were winning 5-1 at Charlton with half an hour to go, and contrived to lose 7-6! Altogether now awwwwwwww! Hero of the hour was Johnny Summers who scored five. A young Bill Shan...

Why do you need music when a team scores? The goal should be enough to get your blood pumping. The modern generation is getting more Americanised every day - they have to have someone cue them when to get excited and music and dancing girls to get them out of their seats. Unless someone plays a song...
