Re: SSC Napoli vs BVB 09
I think Klopp was angry because his player had just received treatment for a cut above the eye, was allowed back onto the pitch (presumably by the 4th official), then told to leave the pitch again by the referee who wasn't satisfied with the bandaging. When he was off for the second time is when Nap...

For those interested, Sir Elton Boffa made a triumphant return to the stage over the weekend, appearing at the Beaumaris 2012 Presentation night. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDRxyf1mFQo Song was dedicated to the Beauy Veterans team, who took out the championship and stole the limelight from the s...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure Cavani scored a goal for Napoli in the opening round last year that didn't cross the line. We won 1-0 I think

What a goal by Mauri this morning. One of the goals of the season and factoring in the importance of the goal and timing - fantastic stuff. Meanwhile I've had about enough of Mazzarri and his excuses. He out-coached himself tonight and is delusional if he truly thinks of himself as an innovator. Sta...

Actually very similar to the Liverpool Arsenal match on the weekend. If you don't put away your chances and you keep the other team in the game, often you get punished.

Re: Serie A round 26
One of those games where a draw would have been a fair result. Even maybe a Parma win on the balance of play. But going by actual clear cut chances, Napoli made the most of them.
Don't forget Lavezzi hit the post when the goals were wide open and keeper out of the equation.

True but 2 wins in a row has really revived our serie a campaign. Hopefully the results keep coming and teams above keep dropping points. In the last three League games at Bergamo, the aggregate score is - Atalanta 3-12 Juventus. Alex Del Piero has scored four of those. 15 goals scored last 3 games $1.50 if anyone scores in the 1st half. Lazy 5k bet. Nice little return. Atalanta 0 - 2 Juventus Lichtsteiner 54 (J), Giaccherini 82 (J) ...

That's my point. Just saying they had 75% possession doesn't mean they were going to go on to win the game Teams with a low possession count win or draw often. If you have 75% possession you should be winning the game, and quite comfortably. Ever seen Barcelona lose or draw a game? Often with 75% p...

Didn't watch the game but just on the Point of 75% possession - that means nothing. It's been proved time and time again the possession doesnt indicate the team most likely to win, even an overwhelming possession percentage like 75%.
