As Gerrard is nearing the end of his career, he should be played up front just behind Suarez.

It would be cool to see him at Liverpool but I agree with this in that Aquilani leaving would really damaging to Roma.Curva Sud wrote:If he is fit he is exactly what Roma need and with him and De Rossi in the midfield it is one of the best partnerships in Serie A!

No national team in any competition carries a sponsor on the front of their strip in international competition. It’s FIFA policy. You can read it here:

Dirk Kuyt is a damn hero. I don't care what anyways says, I think he is a good player and a valuable asset to the team. Furthermore is attitude of never giving up and always trying plus his enthusiasm is something I really respect.

No argument from me. Barcelona to Bayern Munich was like Kawasaki Frontale to CCM. Utter domination. Whoever wins this side of the CL draw, I believe will no doubt go on to win the whole thing......Barcelona obviously being the extreme favourites. I do hope for a Liverpool miracle at Stamford Bridge...

Lukas Podolski wants to leave Bayern Munich because he can't get a look in with Miroslav Klose and Luca Toni as the main strike force. I wonder if he's Serie A bound or will some EPL club snap him up?

Can't believe we lost that game. We had so many chances and they definitely came back to haunt us. I seriously believe if Torres was playing he would've scored some of those chances we had. It's not a disaster but it's annoying as because Spurs are so shite.

I tuned in to 5AA sports show and it was great listening to Pim Verbeek. Honestly though, having Pim on really rams home how insular and small minded KG and Cornsey are, the gulf in class was huge. For example, KG and Cornsey for the most part would ask generic questions and the way Pim answered tho...

The Roo your comments about doing whatever you can to gain an advantage is something I disagree with. That's dishonourable, one doesn't need to be dirty in order to be successful. Look at Roger Federer, Lionel Messi, Tiger Woods, James Hird.
