Re: EPL Australian TV Rights

Anyone else noticed that Optus Sport are increasing the number of adverts this season ? Even in the 9 minute extended highlights they a managing to slip three adds at the half way mark . Yes. Its the thin edge of the wedge. As per youtube and various podcasts have been doing for a while. Start smal...

Get in before the Vipers. I hear they are still looking for half an 18s team.

One of the 3 names still listed on the tribunal outcomes as 6 game suspension. Must have been a spicy game, especially if it was still in preseason.

I think final fixtures were posted on the website 10th march last year and round 1 was on the 18th.

Thanks. No Adelaide Uni U16 JPL team. They were in the jpl draft. Did not hear rumours that they may withdraw. If you have access can you check to see if they went into the u16 jsl group.

Ta. Did they distribute the final structures at the same time? Be interested to see how the u16 and u17s ended up.

Any idea when the fixtures will be up? From memory Draft fixture was floating around about this time last year for coments . Someone on here was saying that they are having to finesse the u16 league structure because a few teams dropped out quite late. Prob need to finalise all the leagues in all t...

Re: West Adelaide U16s 2019

Might not bee too bad. At the moment there are only 10 teams in A and 10 teams in B. So thats 18 games to play. If there are 6 remaining in C div and they make only 2 divs with 13 teams each then 24 games. Bit on the high side but rather more games than less. Not sure of the imbalance in skills thou...

U16 is a bit interesting. No metro team? And 3 of the teams that struggled last year in U15 survived for 2019 (campbelltown, comets and one of the Sturt teams).

Re: Junior League Structures

I see Blue Eagles U14's have been moved from JPLB to JPLC despite finish mid-table last year. seems strange that one, maybe they lost a lot of players and were not sure if they would be competitive. If the club has requested the move down a division then at least they are being honest with themselv...

Re: West Adelaide U16s 2019

From what I seen on another post, it seems that West Adelaide u16 team finally has been put into the C Div. From u12 the team has struggled and maybe have lost every excuse in the book to finally be put in the div they should have been in from the start. I am not sure but they would be one of only ...

Re: Junior League Structures

Fair few u17 teams this year. Wonder if the quality will improve. I saw 3 half games of u17 in 2018 and they were not a particularly high standard. 18’s is not for everyone, some players want to go down the amateur path. I know lots of our 17’s turned down 18’s as they didn’t want the additional tr...

Thought that might be the case. Hope that doesn't delay the jpl league structures though. Seemed like a few of the initially proposed jsl teams ended up in the jpl c divisions at the last minute this season.

Any news on the draft league structures for 2019. Based on past years the draft came out for comments about mid December. Would be interested to see how the jsl leagues end up. JSL nominations aren’t due until end of January so the structure will not be known until mid-February. Is that a bit later...

Re: West Adelaide U16s 2019

It is the team that has finished bottom or second to bottom in the last 3 years but never gets relegated. I think they got lucky this year because there were 3 teams from last years u14 jpl b group that didn't continue in the B group in 2018. NTC girls, cobras did not enter a team and rumour has it ...

Major club is getting too sure of itself now. Pushing the envelope at $1400 junior fees reeks of arrogance. It might be their unique way of avoiding the junior trials dramas of 2016 and 2017. Or are they offering overs to entice coaches for next year and therefore need the money? Memo to the unsusp...

Yes you're right - it's very unfair to blame a coach who was handed mission impossible. He never had the chance to show ...

Under 16 JPL coach got sacked last week by the club. Bottom of the ladder says it all. So much for the rubbish coming out of the club when they made a 'great appointment. Typical of a club that's great on talk . The TD of this club's juniors needs to follow the ex coach out the door. There are more...

Tomorrow's NTC under 17 competition team has gift wrapped the game to Adelaide City. Only 10 players available. And that's after taking 2 players from their team playing Under 16s also against Adelaide City. So the Adelaide City 16s will also be gifted a result, a week after sacking their coach. I ...
