Re: Need for more game play

I think at junior level, say from U10's, there is a need for more game play, the kids are training hard but just get at most maybe 30 minutes of play on a Sunday. They don’t get to really put in play what they learn at training, they need more game time, it doesn’t have to be structured, just play ...

Not very good.
I watched an U18 game on the weekend. The standard was really poor and the players very young. Players pushed way too quickly in my opinion.

Thanks. No Adelaide Uni U16 JPL team. They were in the jpl draft. Did not hear rumours that they may withdraw. If you have access can you check to see if they went into the u16 jsl group. no Uni in the U16JSL. FFSA said a couple of teams withdrew from the U16JPL league which resulted in the two lea...

They just need to pick a team that will be ready in 2 to 3 years & work with them. Their junior base is big enough, they just need to work out how to connect the juniors to the seniors then start a production line. Shows the need for Saturday Amatuers & colegiate League to form the SL3, then if Sun...

Re: Junior League Structures

I see Blue Eagles U14's have been moved from JPLB to JPLC despite finish mid-table last year. seems strange that one, maybe they lost a lot of players and were not sure if they would be competitive. If the club has requested the move down a division then at least they are being honest with themselv...

From what I seen on another post, it seems that West Adelaide u16 team finally has been put into the C Div. Fair few u17 teams this year. Wonder if the quality will improve. I saw 3 half games of u17 in 2018 and they were not a particularly high standard. 18’s is not for everyone, some players want to go down the amateur path. I know lots of our 17’s turned down 18’s as they didn’t want the additional tr...
