Re: The ugly side

No parents should be allowed to be in the sidelines unless they are involved in the running of the game i.e. ground stewards etc., some parents make incredibly difficult for coaches and volunteers what is supposed to be a fun weekend sporting activity.

Re: Selections

There are no valid reasons for discriminating against a junior player. Judge a player on their merit and not irrelevant actions/behaviours. Its not about the parents, coaches, etc - its about the kids and their development. +1 People sometimes forget that football in Australia is a long way from th...

Re: Australian U17s - Joeys

Germany played 4-2-3-1 and we were trying to hold them with a 4-3-3. Every time we had possession Germany was on to us like hounds. Poor kids they are told to do something by the coaching staff that is completely inappropriate to the way the opposition is playing, hence a defeat is inevitable. I thi...

Not surprising, considering how the U17's lost the league in the last minute of the last game of the season.

Very sorry for Cumberland, it must be tough to finish the season like that.

Heads up there is always another season.

Sth Adelaide JSL 13s. Were getting hammered and coach in 2nd half was subbing every minute virtually to avoid the scoreline getting bigger. Should the team winning be punished - they just want to play soccer but couldn't as subs were just happening every 2nd minute virtually. Oh boo hoo Couldn't ge...

There are many reasons but here are a quick few. There is a shortage of officials yet the FFSA still charge an official $100 to sign up for the year. Officials need to buy new kit - $170 FFSA should pay the official for signing up $100 so they can purchase a kit. Under 18s should not play on Saturd...

Re: NTC Institute Challenge Results

A good start to fixing the problem is to select strikers (forwards) that can actually score goals! Selecting players that can play only tiki taka football but not score will not deliver wins. Socceroos same problem. But that doesn't matter to FFSA... I agree, picking fancy players like Messi, Neyma...
