Re: JD's about to get very excited

Personally cant see the issue with juniors funding seniors if that happens to any extent .. yeah clubs should be about developing players but at the end of the day it is the senior first team that the club is about and where the kids would be aspiring to be ... assume it takes a lot of $$ to keep s...

Re: When is AU going to be sold?

Shoot goal My answer is simple . Imagine some real funding be pumped into the club? What woudl they do with the funding? Can't exceed the salary cap, they have a training facility, the stadium they don't own, the FFA pays for marquees......what ROI would you get from pumping money in???? They could...

Re: Sydney home of the Socceroos

Ticket prices are also a lot higher in cities like Sydney because they sell. Adelaide needs the state government to bid for these games to make them viable for the FFA. So share your knowledge and explain the recent deal for holding further Socceroos matches in Sydney, recently signed between the N...

Liking what im seeing from mooy too though. Such a complete player. Tackling and good engine to add to his touch and creativity. I wonder where his ceiling is?

Re: Going to be harder for aussies to play in England

new proposals would make it impossible for australians to get a work permit to play football in England. Players from countries not ranked in the top 50 will be unable to get a work permit. Stricter controls on having more "home grown" players in the squad as well. A good start but until ...

Only saw the Chelsea antics last night, but really, are they trying to be most hated team in England these days or something? Doing their best so it seems. Lol it's official dedes is a nutcase You would be surprised how many 'ethnics' live in Elizabeth. Ethnics is a dated term that doesn't mean anything. I don't see anyone else turning some training facilities into an ethnic issue The reason it's Elizabeth is it's cheap. Griffin is nothing if not a sma...

Have to say, I reckon Fox need a clear out with the commentary team. Slater is the expert of hindsight, Harper just does my head in with his inability to stay consistent- one minute it is game over, next it is game on, dependent on who is playing of course. Cockerill is not much better. Simon Hill ...
