Re: AFC U-23 Championship

It's an insipid line-up.
The Jellyroos line-up reflects the problems we have developing Australian talent, with tired Visa players flooding the A league and commentators talking up young players who are awful.
The future is not bright.

red cards

yes, we've seen a lot a red cards and penalties this season, but if a player dives in at high sped with a knee above the ankle instead of a boot stud, aimed at breaking the players leg, does that remove him from FIFA's criteria for a red card for a leg braking tackle? The season, and sometimes caree...

Strategic Plan for Refereeing

The FFSA 2015-2017 3 year strategic plan basically provides 2 points relating to refereeing in SA: 1. increase match officials to 500 through referee recruitment campaign 2. improve development opportunities I'm not sure how we're tracking against the 500 target, but I'd be surprised if there were 1...

Suffers heatstroke etc - is this a legal issue, given that he's only junior aged. i.e. Does the club owe a...

A great shame for the uninitiated reading this tripe. 30 man squad is code for sucking your money and interest when your child could be playing in a first team elsewhere, because the current u12/13/14 team is full of dadies boys, committee members kids, racially appropriate persons, and then others ...

or $18.28 if state league

of $16/hr if you're just running a line in state league 18s and ressies.

HOWEVER, I've encountered refs in SW QLD driving 400km round trips to referee a div 1 mens game for $54.

Agree with the above post. The wrong people are running tge referee. Arrogant and there only for their own interest. Watched CCSC v ABE 18s on the weekend and the game was sooo sloooow. It wasn't what I was expecting. Re: What to do when your opposition has only 9 players?

once a "safe" score (5-0) is attained the coach could reduce the numbers of players you have on the pitch to balance the numbers and just rotate players to give everyone an even go. Giving the GK a run on the pitch is always nice (I'm sure Merson liked having a go at scoring against Scotch...

Re: Why just 1 FFSA Skillaroo whats happened

"stars of tomorrow" is pretty insulting given the hit/miss rate, but not a surprising outcome considering the processes followed for years pandering to (let's call it something politically correct instead of what it is) exceptional parental vacuum ability.
