Re: Promotion
Well else would Polonia players vote to switch leagues?
I don't disagree with your comments, but the CSL is not run by the FFSA. It has its own Executive who do a really good job.
When issues / problems present themselves there normally there is an equitable outcome.

Re: Promotion
Well your half right..I guess... The gist of it was that Uni SA thought the Uni SA insurance registration was one in the same as registering with the FFSA. So the majority of their players were playing assuming they had done the right thing. The CSL Executive work hard on identifying such issues and...

Re: San Marco Football Club Div 2 Players wanted
The San Marco players that want to stick to Sunday could move down the road to Adelaide Blue Eagles. They have a few options for Saturday teams in the area. As mentioned Rostrevor / Pumas + Norwood / Athelstone etc. Thats prob half the issue. So many clubs in the North East some of which are litera...

Re: Adelaide Comets Amateurs to CSL
ROCSC1980 Enter a team is around $150 - $200 from memory. SAASL Sunday Div 1 is the best amateur comp in SA. But Saturday Div 1 is comparable to CSL. Standard would be similar. CSL Div 2 standard however wouldnt be near SAASL Div 2. All CSL games are appointed a FFSA ref (most cases) - but not rele...

Re: Adelaide City to enter SAASL???
so have I.....but a lot more recently than you... If you've played in it recently it can't be too good  All jokes aside some quality players, play there now, although not much atmosphere etc Thats a fair comment. The standard of Div 1 CSL is prob the highest its ever been. All CSL clubs are r...

^^^^^^^^^^^^^ not Iggies..... Who else then is an eastern suburbs club? I think OISC have 5 or 6 teams however could be refering to us - Rostrevor Old Collegians? North East? We just formed a 6th team. I think old collegians (not just CSL) have an advantage over other clubs. School is a good feeder...

Re: Interesting comments about wanting Amatuers to join FFSA
My understanding is that FFSA do prioritise the Premier / State leagues (ie younger fitter officials) then the CSL gets whoever is left. Also the Refs choose which CSL games they want on a first in first serve basis. Which is more than fair enough. Friday night is when we have linesmen as they aren'...

Re: Interesting comments about wanting Amatuers to join FFSA
And FIFA has been around even longer than the SAASL, FIFA dont recognise the league there for the flow on effect, FFA dont which means the FFSA dont, its not just the decision that the FFSA made. If the SAASL are that concerned about playing under the FFSA they need to negotiate to just run as a su...

Are you switching over to the SAASL or still playing collegiate For the time being (next couple of seasons at least) we're playing in the CSL 8 March no longer available. CSL clubs are not able to play SAASL in any format due to their alliance with FFSA . Correct but the CSL's affiliation with the ...
