Re: Season 2023.
The WNPL Hub post is right. The term 'minor' isn't used. Premiers if you finish top and champions if you win grand final.

Re: Season 2023.
Maria Rojas back this time with the highest bidder being Flinders United outmatching two other clubs. Given Comets and Inter have two visa players already I'm going to assume that was City and probably Birkalla. No problem with her going for the most money, as long as she admits it. No issue either...

Re: WNPL and State sports Park
Not seen it happen. Maybe at Metro but little elsewhere. In fact very little is open when the games are on. Not viable. The Parks has the canteen and bar open. IIRC FFSA tried to close the bar at the Parks 30 mins after the 2020 WNPL Grand Final, meaning the players, after long hard season, couldn'...

Re: WNPL and State sports Park
Playing at other venues at the different times does not support growth of the culture of the game that occurred when games started to get played at either Parks or west beach. We're back to pre those days where games are all over the shop. I'll keep banging on however de-centralisation for the WNPL...

Re: Congrats to Nano & Yuka Sasaki selected in the Team of the Year 2021
Just wondering when a couple of geniuses here get in touch with the actual WNPL coaches who make these selections based on what they're up against every week. Time to tell them to their faces that they're less qualified to decide who should make Team of The Year than some anonymous keyboard warrior...

Re: WNPL
Strange comment. Quoting another strange comment. 1. NTC will be relegated if they finish bottom 2. NTC is highly unlikely to finish bottom this season 3. Most in WNPL are highly supportive of NTC role - especially when they get their juniors back after NTC program has done player development for th...

Re: Adel Utd Coach to be Offered Further Contract Extension
Ben Rath Firstly, I am not delusional and secondly how about you getting off your posterior and check out the facts. Go an ask the player mentioned as well as other players who were there at the time. So stop trying to defend Ivan as being the white knight because he is not. If & when you speak...

Re: Adel Utd Coach to be Offered Further Contract Extension
Story has it that during a training session prior to the last W League game it involved the head coach who had stopped the training suddenly and tore shreds towards the goal keeper in front of all the players during a training game and allegedly stated something like she was crap and that she has b...

Not sure any comments herein have supported that the Lady's are in a good space. The league table...no tell lies. SB may be on drugs but some on here are manufacturing them and probably overcome by hallucinations from the manufacturing process. Surely everyone here is looking forward to your explan...

Re: Lady Reds In Disarray
Sorry guys, but I could not stand being silent any longer and listen to people on this forum saying how well the Lady reds are going. Please. The lady reds are bottom of the ladder without a win and only three goals in five games and one of those goals was from a penalty. The poor start to the seaso...

Re: AUFC-W v Melbourne City
HORRIBLE RESULT. And the coach, as I read it, has no great concerns? And they're having a pre-christmas get together.....................whilst the Titanic has SUNK. I saw the squad list, who didn't return and it is/was my concern that AUFC-W are on the nose. The bench is thin. Georgia is now a reg...

Re: AUWFC season 2019-2020
The major downfall of this thread is that assertions have been made by SB regarding the contracting of injured players to the exclusion of presumably fit and otherwise comparable players. In itself this is a reasonable basis for complaint given the short season etc. What is very unreasonable is the...

It appears Ivan is at his tricks again by offering contracts to injured players. It would be interesting to see how long these two players last. Its unfortunate because it is a short season and these injured players no fault of their own are taking spots away from fit players. Here we go... How wei...

Re: AUWFC season 2019-2020
Would’ve thought that playing alongside Polkinghorne at Brisbane would be her best bet. Agree about Matildas backline weakness but another good option Liz Ralston wasnt taken to France either. I find Milicic hard to read. Stajic never seemed keen to pick Jenna. Could be a calculated risk. Mel Andre...

But in the last month sportsbird had spread misinformation to undermine a coach and also to undermine a perfectly legitimat decision made ...
