Re: EPL 2019-2020

I'm no United fan but fair play to OGS, he's done a great job with them and I like the way he talks, no hiding behind excuses, same as Lamps. Two good young managers. lets not get carried away.....in terms of points, I think we achieved as many as last year but because both Arsenal and Chelsea drop...

Re: Referees

So will I be frowned upon for offering the referee some 'top up cash' before the game? I was trying to figure this out myself. I personally wouldn't have a problems with it, and we all know it would be done with the best intentions. But... it could put the refs in an awkward position regarding alle...

It’s disappointing that it’s been handled the way it has been.

Of bigger concern should be whether the game is allowed to go ahead in the current climate.

Hopefully sanity prevails and it is allowed to go ahead

Re: Matildas being paid a quarter of average wage

New minimum is $16,500. $12,000 is funded by the collective TV deal. So clubs are obliged to fund a minimum of $4,500 per player. At a squad of 20, that's less than a $100k that's needed at a minimum. Would the women’s team even generate $100k of turnover? Let alone profit? Are you insinuating that...
