Re: SAASL Affiliation to the FFA/FFSA

According to what we were told, SAASL pay FFSA / FFA $17,500 per year for affiliation, for up to three years - after that – who knows? We were also told that SAASL have some 5,000 players registered, so with the proposed increases in fees it would be fair to say that on top of the $17,500 per year, ...

Re: Green United Forfeit Behaviour

Same thing happened to us (Aldinga) with MU Stars Sean. A full team of 13 to 14 players rocked up at 12:30 sat in their cars, we kitted up, warmed up and took to the field only for them to tell our ref at 1:10pm that they had chosen to forfeit. The same players then played in the A grade. Takes the ...

Re: Email from SAASRA

Surely for any team found guilty of assault / abuse towards a referee it would be an advantage for them to to use their own club referee. Therefore, I cant see that it is any form of punishment. I would expect a lot of teams would forfeit against known trouble causers using their home ref for Senior...

Re: One Tree Hill Vs Northern Wolves... All in brawl

Talk about a leopard cant change its spots. Wolves prety peeved that Aldinga outplay them and were very unlucky not to take all the points, so they revert to abusing and threatening the ref. The referee made them change their linesman because of the blatent offside abuse and personal abuse to him. E...

Re: Teams folding and forfeiting

For the record Aldinga will not be folding ha ha, made me chuckle. We have had a horrendous amount of injuries and unavailability of players of late and have struggled to fill two complete teams with lots of players having to double up to help out the ressies, as our results will show. Two full team...

It's Aldinga that gets under the radar. is Aldinga still a goer then. :?: I would like to hope so. Yes George - Aldinga will again field teams in Saturday SAASL for 2017. Hopefully Council will start on our 2 planned pitches in 2017. We are still looking for a few players to bolster our numbers. Pr...

Burundi Eagles

Well seems like habits are hard to change. Burundi Eagles playing federation players yet again. Two even wore...

Re: Saturday Div 4

We saw the draft for Sat Div 3 and 4 tonight at SAASL.

Surprised to see Budapest in Div 3, when they have asked to go Div 5.

Also Breakers listed in Div 4, with Chin also being promoted to Div 3.

Two new teams in Div 4
