Re: Australia & New Zealand to host FIFA Women's World Cup 2023

why does it need an upgrade ? average attendance for women's world cup qualifying match is between 10,000 -12,000 why spend all that money for a one off event, even if Matildas end up in the group that play here a packed stadium every game makes for great atmosphere, whoever gets to play here. Apart from the close scores the overall standard of AFL has slumped to an all time low. Its like watching under 11 footy with about 30 players all within a kick of the ball.

As for the knee thing.
Apart from the close score pretty ordinary game, the shortened games were always going to lower scores even further.

Big question should the EPL clubs give up small percentgae of their TV revenue to ensure survival of many of the 72 EFL? Unlike EPL clubs, EFL clubs biggest revenue stream is gate receipts.

Playing in empty arenas has seen Port and Gold Coast's chances of finals increase as they are more used to it. Even though not H&A, at least if they see through a 17 game fixture season by playing everyone once only, it will at last be one of the more fairer ladders at the end! With 17 Rounds d...
