Re: Sat Div 4
Asking for a card check from the ref at half time won't happen easily. At the start of each game each team is entitled to obtain the oppositions match sheet and their ID cards, to keep until the start of the second half half. If you haven't done this by then, it's too late. Assuming the match sheet ...

Unless a ref spits on your face, calls your mother a c-unt, or chases, then smashes you with a pole, they couldn't possibly be regarded as part of the problem. Do you mean like the ref who called a German player a 'n@zi', a 'blockhead' and told him to 'f*#$ off back to Germany' at half time during ...

Recipe for a tough season: - Lose 15 players from previous years squad (other clubs, moved away, retirements) - B grade team made up of 14 - 15 years old who are playing due to their being no U-16 team at club - Four season ending knee injuries to experienced A grade players - Many minor injuries t...

sent off for a trip? sounds like a caution at most me. Come on stu, assuming it's the same ref from a few years ago - he's got previous. I think he only sent off 2 of ours that day. A player got booked that day for and I quote "in case you swore". Later he got a second yellow for being pu...

Gotta love the forum's word swap for an apparently dirty word for a relaxation venue. Not too sure macdonald's would be overly happy.

Re: Official referee doesn't turn up:
The club referee in question is arguably one of the most biased/worst club referees in the league. But, credit to him, he's been helping out for 400 years. Given that he had refereed the Reserves fixture, you should have realised when agreeing on whether to go ahead in the A game, what you had got y...

Re: Is football becoming a non-contact sport?
Maybe ask the referees boss for clarification.
Are you referring to if there is contact?
I.e if you go in studs up with two feet off the ground, it's reckless if you don't even make contact.
If you make contact it's somewhere between reckless and excessive force.

How about this one: A player receives a 5th yellow card on the last game of the season . . . Does the next season start afresh or does he have to miss the first game ? depends on if he's changed clubs or not. Amateur YC ban = 4 yellows. I believe. Yes, it carries over to next season (i.e Joey Barto...

Too many keepers just expect that because they're rare , they'll get the spot they want. It shits me off how a lot aren't willing to train with guys better than them and learn a thing or two and work their way up. I don't think you know what this means. Correct, thank you for clearing that up ...

The only difference between someone abusing a player on here on standing on the sidelines and doing it is that on the sidelines their words don't change to wine varietals. If no-one is going to stop abuse at games, why stop it here? It may be faceless here, but it's nameless at games. I wonder if a...

2013 SAASL Fixtures Released
They were apparently finalised a couple of weeks ago and the league office advised they'd be online today. What's the hold up?
