How good would it be if a Manager would sub a peanut for an obvious dive and not include him in the line up for a week or so because of the "injury" he "sustained"?
I don't see it ever happening but it would be great if it did.

Re: Query on Campbelltown U16
If opposition Clubs agree to change the time, what's the drama? If your Club is agreeing, then ask them.
If you want an answer from the Club (Campbelltown or whoever), ring them? This is a bloody forum, for crying out loud...

I know Baggio, let's remove the penalty as everyone's jumping up and down about it.
Final score 0-0....
What's the overall result now?...
Oh dear....

I know his lad plays 17s at white city. Yeah I'm out there. Nice bloke. But should be coaching elsewhere. He's got a bit tO offer. What a dumb statement. Clearly he's "offering" his knowledge to players now. I don't know him but if he's a good Coach having an input in a 'C' divisio...

pretty much seems like a good tactic as this Raiders u/12 side is a fantatsic talented team, 2 hold these boys 2 just a 2-1 defeat personally 2 me was a great result 4 these lads, with a top 3 position on the line 4 premier soccer next season in u/13s some coaches will need 2 use any tactics possib...

its getting better i agree.... but what would happen if for example a team at adelaide city or blue eagles lost every game???? I guess you'd have to ask AC or ABE. And even that would probably depends on a heap of different things too (eg: age, Coach, Club/Federation philosophy, is the team appropr...

Nothing but what i have been preaching for years. But everybody wants leagues for points , promotion & relegation. time to re-think FFA Over the years, I've found it's mostly Parents who want this. Although, to be fair, it's slowly changing. I remember my first year of coaching, I was an assist...

Re: Para Hills Small Sided football u11 Goalkeeper Required
Oh... I see your dilema.
If no-one answers you GK cries, you could try bringing the parents in and get them to help adjust the little Johnny's/Jenny's attitude towards the position.
Best of luck
PS: I didn't mean to tell you how to suck eggs, either.

Re: Para Hills Small Sided football u11 Goalkeeper Required
Firstly, I mean no offence in asking this.
Why would you need a specialist Goalkeeper for an U11 team/squad?
Don't they just get rotated through the positions?
Lastly, please read the first sentence again.
Cheers.

Totally agree with Kossie, Football is a team game and not about the individual ! IMO if you want to play by yourself go and take up tennis or golf! :) :) :) True. However, unfortunately, often the the kids who grab the attention are the ones who don't pass, don't think team, but just think about t...

Maybe/Maybe not. But getting told to apologize by the powers that be after Fergie's already come out said what he did, has got to hurt.totsreds08 wrote:Fergie has no right to say that thought. Some of his own players have done worse yet he has played them. He is an absolute tool.

Liverpool's owners stepping up to the plate and putting the star player and the manager in their place ? Well they had too, they had been gettin so much stick for it. The LOTG are pretty clear, if the referee deems it to be dangerous or excessively forceful it's an early bath. The tackler has a choice to stay on his feet so it's about educating them to 'play smart'. Personally, I agree that the game is poorer without a crunching tackle but the World is so obsess...

Any decent shot on goal could break a defender's leg if they happen to stick out their leg at last second too. Where do you draw the line? Far too many reds issued ad hoc these days for sometimes nothing tackles. The Shearing one at Fulham was another bulls hi t send off. The LOTG are pretty clear,...
