Re: Cup round.....
i remember coaching in the ffsa a few years ago, i had an U15 team and played a team within our league. Anyway, the score got to about 7or8 nil so I switched my def to forwards and forwards to def, after another few goals I took the keeper out and put him on the field and took a field player and put...

grove will be more time, they didn't look convincing the other night vs a Sat Div2 team and their ressies were easily handled

I would like to see those stats team wise in any div in any grade, what has been the most goals scored by a team (ressies or seniors) in any division or grade.

Re: Goal Scoring Record
More importantly is the ongoing debate about SAASL being as good if not better than FFSA. Robbie McDonald is a great bloke but struggled to kick goals consistently in the Feds. Having kicked 24 so far pretty much ends the debate for me you could also put a diff spin on that Srbin, maybe the team/co...

Re: Best Junior Coach
any coach that takes a player, no matter their level of ability, and develops them is a good coach in my opinion. I read a lot about "this coach won this" and "this coach produced X amount of first team players" but a lot of that also relies on 'un-coachable' attributes like det...

From what I read on the toilet wall, the vipers/toros merge is virtually done and dusted.
Seniors at Pennington - Juniors at Woodville
Which leaves a recently promoted Saturday Div 1 team.
Steve would you care to elaborate?? Any recent meetings down at St Clair??

Re: Fulham in State League 2014
So if this is correct are Fulham pulling out of SAASL Div 2? If so this would create lots of problems for the SAASL admin & place more focus on some of the bizarre rulings in Div 3 & 4 games! why pull out - seniors at Toros and they have 3 sides already - juniors at fulham, and they can hav...

so in theory to play pretty play from the back, but to win a big game forget that, send it long, and do whatever you must to win, and we wonder why it is so hard to progress our game. Re: New Junior Structure 2014
Let me clarify my position. My suggestion is if we are to support the proposal to align the seniors and juniors, in line with FFA preference, then I think the senior teams need to be evaluated and play either PL or SL also based on junior outcomes, not simply their own season performance. Based on ...

How many refs have taken ref courses and have paper to prove they can do it?
Would Bills line fit here also? I would say yes.
Give me a coach who played for 30 plus years and no paperwork any day.
However there's another line for this also, opinions are like .....holes every one has one.

So by your theory, if Modbury remain in SL this year, but then get promoted to PL in 2014 while we get relegated down to SL, all our juniors will come flocking to you, correct ? U18/Res/Seniors 120K divided by about 55 players. So each cost about $2k to pit on the park. It's not that it''s a terrible thing, just a fact that seniors are susidused by income coming from juniors fees. If people don''t like it they can FO, but stop bullshitting about it not being the case. Way ...

Dont need to quote the senior side, as I was just showing where our 'junior fees' go Yes, you need to find another $100k+ to run a senior PL team I get the feeling people are arguing because they actually want to hear that juniors fees fund senior wages not because they want to actually know what h...

Re: I find it strange
What is the comparison in senior wage bills for Sunday Div1 clubs like Parafield Gardens (1st) or Elizabeth downs (2nd) vs Metro (1st) and ABE (2nd)? I bet the difference a year is very close to the difference per year in junior fees. It's all relevant I'm sure. As merson has already pointed out ju...
