Re: Euro 2016 finals

English FA Brexit Strategy in ruins: Since England won the World Cup in 1966 their performance in football finals has been dismal, and definitely not befitting the inventor of the game. Hence a crisis meeting was held in 2006 after yet another poor showing in a major tournament during world Cup 2006...

Slater is the expert of hindsight, Harper just does my head in with his inability to stay consistent- one minute it is game over, next it is game on, dependent on who is playing of course. Cockerill is not much better. Simon Hill ...

very poor performance by Asian Confederation

Now that the group stages are complete we find the 4 Asian teams bottom of their groups with a collective total of 3 points and -16 goal difference. Yet as a comparable confederation, Concacaf with their four teams has 3 through to next round (including a group leader) with a collective total of 18 ...

Re: LUCAS NEIL BITES BACK AT CROWD

making big news now, debate is on, should he engage with a crowd giving it to him during a game ???? Just imagine for one minute how he must have felt. He has represented his country without regard to the cost to his career - has captained that team in two World Cup finals series - has given everyt...

Wouldnt be the first or last sportsperson to have this issue.
Some times my body reminds me it can no longer do what it used to but I dont like to admit it either
