Re: Player movement 2019
Heard a number of ex-Salisbury Florina boys played for Parafield Gardens in a recent trial game against a Saturday Div 1 team where another ex-Florina player scored 2 goals for the Saturday team to win the match? Cant confirm the players names though - can anyone help?

Beach run for under 12's Surely this time should be spent with soccer balls at their feet to further develop skills, they are U12's and shouldn't be unfit ??rossonero wrote:there is a junior club training u12s and older 3 times per week and includes beach running

Re: Best Player Awards
Any club B&Fs announced yet? Just checked Florina's Facebook page and it appears Kieran Griffiths either won or took out 3 awards (Best Player, Players award and Supporters award ??) and these are for the goalkeeper of the team that finished last and then there is Stoney getting the Division 1 ...

Re: Sunday Premier Round 11 Write Up
Looks like Vale, Para Hills East, Florina and TTG will be fighting each other so they do not face relegation this year and with 3 points covering the group there will be a bit of pressure to win and reliance on the other teams crumbling. The last 2 games of the season could be interesting with Flori...

I hope this clip was on repeat during the flight home for the Socceroos over the weekend so they are able to actually score when they have the opportunity later this week or else they along with the rest of us will be watching other teams play in Russia

Elizabeth Downs Undefeated League and Cup Winners :D :D :D :D :D :D Downs surprised me with the style and quality of their football. They are the best ball playing amateur side I have seen since BOSA vintage 2005. I can certainly see why they went undefeated and have some top players. With no disre...

Re: Cup Semi Final
What was the Vales 2nd goal (corner) disallowed for? Was some interesting decisions in both games. Classic was to see PHW awarded throw in then PHW defender and MJ forward come together with PHW who then gives out a soft head butt and recieves a yellow card immediately from referee and game continu...

Re: Craig Laird's Sunday Premier Division Round Up
Picked up on that when we played them too. When you look at their results this year it was a good start but then injuries (?) to their midfielders and goal keeper seemed to start a downward spiral from about mid-season with some heavy loses. At least for all the hard working committee and players th...

Not sure if Ingle Farm will be lucky or unlucky with the draw next week as they face Florina after their 12 - 1 smashing by Brahma Lodge this week and will depend how the players respond or if the result was due to injuries - how many are fit?

2nd Division survival is a priority. What's been happening so far is just not good enough. We've lost every game. Therefore we obviously need to change. We need quality. Bring in a quality coach with survival his priority. We are paying good money to players who will not be at Angle Vale next year ...

Any team that is promoted from Sunday Division will need 3-4 more good quality players to be competitive in the SAASL Sunday Premier Division. Even Brahma Lodge, who blitzed Division 2 undefeated, still recruited a few players . Creating an FFSA State League 2 team whilst bolstering their SAASL sid...

Gullies played well to earn the point against Brahma but will need to strengthen the team for next year. Does Neville target the best from other Sunday Div 2 teams or sit in the Modbury Jets car park down the road and speak to their fringe players??

There would have to be a review of how the red cards were issued (2 yellows or a straight red) before penalizing the club itself as yellows are handed out like lollies by some of the referees HOWEVER if it is the same player(s) getting done each time then they need to look at themselves, think about...
