The Swiss made the arrests at the States' behest. I think it's because the money was allegedly laundered through US banks.

so what's the motivation of Gombau and AU?
Develop club first game second. FFA/FFSA should be game first, development will come with strong club backing.

I agree with JohnyD and the interview is close to what i have witnessed here in SA. You've given him too much credit - it was irony, not satire. Satire  noun 1. the use of irony, sarcasm, ridicule, or the like, in exposing, denouncing, or deriding vice, folly, etc. 2. a literary composition, in verse or prose, in which human folly and vice are held up to scorn, derisio...

No, you're being a nosey shite. If the parents, or you, are that concerned then become a member of a club and attend an agm. Me? I don't need to, I have been there done that for years. I know the costs and hard work involved to run a club with mostly volunteers. Sorry mate that post was meant for J...

The old Hellas was like that "cash incentives" for winning, the 1978 famous League win was on the back of cash cow payments. So do clubs need better mercaneries and selection off or try building culture and juniors up? they had three of the best mercs (and most expensive) last year and th...

Han Berger should be the first one to be turfed out the door. Has done nothing for the development of the sport since he's been in the role. Surprised he is being missed by everyone calling for heads. Was easy to sack Holger, someone high up needs to take a good hard look at this clown and what he'...

When being a member of the State team does not rely on the ability to pay, then maybe the most talented players will get selected. As a matter of interest, which talented players did not get selected to go to Coffs due to the cost ? u13 Skilleroos is 11 mths of training/playing FREE plus all their ...

Most players are selected to fill spots, (positional placings) not investments in the future, as clubs will always try to entice, select the best to the club. IMO the topic is a little irrelevant as senior football is what is about. Seniors - 18, ressies & first team should be hard fast and some...
