India v England

Looking forward to watching this series.
Play will generally start between 2.30-3pm each day for us which is good.
It will be interesting to see how the 2nd and 3rd ranked Test nations play against each other especially given conditions in India.
I'm predicting 3-1 to India

Good to hear the Luton captain is going ok after his medical episode over the weekend.
Would have been very scary for all involved and well done to the support staff from both sides for saving his life

What a performance last night!
India were dominated in ALL facets which was very surprising - but great to see!

Re: ODI cricket world cup

India deserve it, have played well all-round. That said, whilst you're in it, you're a chance. Gut feeling that Saffers might get up tonight, but hope I'm wrong. Good thing you were wrong. India should be red-hot favourites but in a Final - anything can happen! Surprising that this could be the 4th...

And why the continued interest with Burnley? ;-)

Think your little wager was safe from the get-go, though not in everyone's eyes.
For this exact reason.
I don't want it forgotten amongst all the chatter about VAR

Re: ODI cricket world cup

Don't mind the format they're running with but they need to be playing 2 games a day to get the tourney over in a month. We're not even halfway through yet and it feels like it's really dragging along. Clearly there are 3 good teams and then the rest - Australia have found some form but England are...

Re: ODI cricket world cup

Well the Aussie's latest "warm up" games do make for interesting discussions. Blowing a 2-0 series lead in South Africa followed by a couple thumpings in India could mean one of two things. It's all a big ruse to get some teams into a false sense of security against us, OR we are just slo...

The results are what they are and fair enough, no one can complain. Was a brilliant series, loved every second of it and yes some controversy and ifs/buts are all part of what made it great. It’s an old cliche but test cricket definitely the winner. Bring on the next one Funny to note that England ...

Drawn series and it will now be at least 26 years since Australia win a series in England.. What an ending for Broad. A 6 off his last ball as a batsmen and a wicket with his last ball as a bowler. Is that the last we see of Jimmy? Is that the last we see of Warner? Is that the last we see of Smith...

However I agree neither of them actually cheated - it's just an easy label to apply to both

England deserve to win this Test - they have comprehensively outplayed the Aussies. Should be 2-2 heading into the 5th test next week @ the Oval. This is getting tense. Some atrocious bowling to Stokes just gifting him a ton.
